It's hard to believe I've been here nearly five months already.

I should probably work on getting out more and meeting people. Not something I've ever been really good at. What kinds of things do people do for fun?

Well, I suppose I'm going to have to look for actual employment here. Seeing as I doubt saving people pays anything around here and seeing as we can't leave, being a pilot is kind of out of the question too.

What is this place? Is this some new game by the Capitol? Some new arena? It seems so quiet, so peaceful...

I'd think it's a dream, but none of my dreams are peaceful anymore.

Hey, um, apparently I've been assigned to live with you. Thanks for taking me in.

Apparently yesterday was something called Pie Day? I never knew that was a thing.

In honor of it, all pie will be half off at the Tea House this week.

My guardian is a madman. In the past week, these are only some of the things he's done.

1.Yodeling. Lots of it.
2. Fed the squirrels nachos.
3. Challenged other residents to pudding wrestling matches in the pool.
4. Climbed people's balconies while drunkenly yelling "I AM SPIDER-MAN!" (To whoever's above us? I am so, so sorry.)
5. ZIPLINES.
6. Rent checks in a bear trap outside the rental office.
7. YELLING AT THE MOON.
8. Stood in the fitness center in a luchador mask and kept attempting to wrestle other residents.
9. Went trick-or-treating.
10. Stood at the window yelling "Order up!" and throwing hot dogs at people.
11. Attached basketball hoops over people's doors, knocked, and then proceeded to "dunk on them" when they answered.

Whoever's in charge of this town is a bunch of sadists if they willingly put me with this dude.

I've been here long enough that I need to find something to do so I've decide that getting at least a part-time job would be a good start.

I figured that I would first ask if any of the community-owned businesses were hiring before I branched out.

Well, I have a job.

Not entirely sure how it happened, but I'm the new manager of the Madison Valley Tea House. Which will now be the Madison Valley Tea and Pie House since I know a lot more about pie than I do about tea.

This week's specials will be strawberry rhubarb, blueberry peach, and dutch apple.

So everywhere I go I see these ridiculously little Cupid statues everywhere.

As someone who has met Cupid? He's kind of a dick. And someone who's also the kid of Venus and Mars is a little bit scary.

Everything that fancy hoity-toity arsehole did and said warranted a good slap, should be counting on his lucky stars all I did was make him cry. Oh, so fucking sorry I've not been in a proper decent mood for centuries and here he's the one what's got his panties in a bunch while I'm the displaced one, I didn't ask for any of this fucking nonsense. Fuck you and no take backs on the fancy little bit of plastic.

I know it's too soon for a lot of things, but there are definitely some issues the town is going to have to face soon. We lost a lot of our business owners, people may be without jobs, houses and pets may be abandoned.

Do we have any kids left without their parents or a guardian? That should probably be our first priority is getting them sorted.

I'm hoping that Charlotte Charles, Olive Snook, or Emerson Cod is here.

Also, is there a bakery around? Somewhere I can get a good slice of pie?
