I am a homeowner! It's official! I've closed on a house.

A nice, single-story brick house with garage and fenced yard. I will have so much more space than I've got in my apartment. Room enough for, well, many things. Like a home weight room. And maybe a forge in the garage.

My son had a birthday earlier in the month, and after his party, he had a sleepover last weekend with six of his friends. They played video games, watched movies, ate junk food, pranked me all night... whatever little boys get up to at sleepovers. The next morning after breakfast I had seven wild children running around my apartment like mad people until about 3 in the afternoon when the last kid went home.

DJ told me this morning he wants to do that every weekend.
It's been three days and I'm still exhausted.

So, being an Ancient Greek monster (although I'm really not so ancient), before I came to Monster High we would always celebrate Anthesteria at the end of February and the beginning of March. It's a holiday to celebrate Dionysus, the god of wine (among other things).

I could usually even convince my moms to give me some.

Now hear this. Now hear this. March 6 is my 21st birthday. I will celebrating it in the traditional fashion--doing a pub crawl and getting shit-faced. If you are a Friend of George (or would like to be, and who wouldn't, really?) you are invited to join me.
