[Letter to Kol Mikaelson]
My Lord Kol,
I continue to replay our time at the ball the other evening with such vividness that at times it's all consuming and I yearn for your presence. Every time we meet, there is little else I can think of for days after.
I have spoken at lengths with my father. It seems you've impressed him in ways, I'm told, only another man can do. Whatever the reason, he will be sending an invitation for you to join us for lunch the day after tomorrow. It is my belief that he may be willing to allow your claim of intention.
The possibility of being yours makes it hard for me to even write this letter. It is something I desire above all else.
