I do feel terribly sorry for the nightwalker vampires as the days get brighter and longer. How terrible it must be to them to think they have such power, and yet to be so very weak when it counts.

I have been spending a good deal of my time here studying Earth and its history.

It is fascinating to me that a human society can be so advanced and so barbaric at the same time. Such medical skills, and such terrible wars. Such fascinating philosophy and yet people starve in the streets.

It is not like this among the Tok'ra, although I cannot say as much for the Goa'uld.
