Most of the time it's easy to not think about some of the stuff from my past, like getting shot. And then there are other times, where the nightmares are out in full force and I end up a sleep-deprived zombie the next day.

Last night was not one of the easy ones.

Checking in on my favorite dysfunctional family.

I honestly never thought I would be saying this, but...

Only in this town will you get successful shopping advice from a muppet.

How are you two doing now that we've been here over a week?

One of the things I don't like abut being in this place long enough to see so many people come and go? The way you can be doing perfectly fine and then something reminds you of someone and it takes your entire day down.

One of the girls wanted goldfish crackers and it reminded me of my former lab assistant. I still miss her.

Who else feels bored? I need to get out and do something.

And I get the distinct feeling that I just made like half a dozen people develop migraines at that statement.

As my employees keep coming up with new 'theme' days, I thought I might offer up a chance for the customers to choose a theme day or two.

We'll toss all the ideas in a hat, and winner gets free drinks for that night.
