Madison Valley Role Play

The only thing worse than trying to figure out what to do with myself for the summer is realizing I have absolutely no idea what skills I have that could translate into something useful.

Then again, I know I'm not the only person in that boat. Could be worse, I guess.

Why do adults like sex so much? It sounds really gross from everything I've read.

Why are you talking to a young child about sex?

Before coming to Madison Valley, I never had any time at all just to myself. The work of a Guardian is pretty much 24/7, even if you do have a day off once in a while. It's got to be used keeping in shape and studying and such. And I've been training for this since I was about five years old. I've never known any other life.

But now that I'm here, and don't have to be a Guardian all the time, well...it's kind of nice. Today I took a long walk through the forest and didn't have to watch the time or anything. Next thing you know, I'll be sleeping until noon.

In four days I'll be seventeen.

Didn't make it that far back home, which I guess makes this a little bittersweet?

This place has no nightlife.

Last night I went downtown after midnight and it was quieter than the dead.

I think maybe I better do something to liven this place up a bit.

I can't sleep.
