I hate to pile on the bad news around here, but everyone who was friends with my ward, Layla, should know it seems like she's gone, too.

I'm so sorry. I'm holding out hope that she'll be back soon but with everyone going these days even I think that might be a little too optimistic.

I did not mind the vacation, of sorts, but I am grateful to be back where I can get back to work. I do not like leaving experiments and research.
