What do you think?

So I never got to go to my prom back home for a bunch of reasons like being homeless and dying for starters but it kind of sounds like fun. I think I'll go, I don't have a date, but I'm fine with going alone unless someone out there needs a date? Either way, definitely sounds like something fun to do.

I wish I lived in a world where prom was actually something to think about, instead of war and death and despair.

Do you understand what this prom is that everyone is talking about?

I hope someone else is having a cook out because I am so not attempting the cooking thing again.

I can't wait to be free of high school.

Now that summer is coming, anyone got any good places to get clothing that's breathable but throat to ankle covering - ie, long-sleeved shirts and pants and so on, I don't particularly relish heat stroke.

Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to have this prom thing when I was growing up. But we didn't really have what's known as 'high school'...I went long enough to learn the basics, but had to learn a lot at home, too. Maybe it worked better, though...with so much to do around the farm, I wouldn't have had much time as a teenager for formal schooling.

Ichabod and I are incredibly pleased to announce that I am 8 weeks pregnant. Our baby will be due in the beginning of January.

Both of us are overjoyed and very excited.
