Will nobody point me in the direction of Rome? I must find someone who knows who I am. I have items that I can trade. I was given a strange metal tablet that hinges in the middle, with a mirror on one half and letters on the other. They made it glow when they gave it to me. I was also given an intelligent "phone," but I will keep it for myself as it is quite lovely and makes charming sounds.

Will anyone read this? They said it would help. I would appreciate any kindness you might grant me.

I can't believe I'm shopping for bullets at Wal-mart

I got a job. My financial situation was starting to look like Sovie getting pretty bleak. It's not all that exciting. But beggars can't be choosers, and it's not every day you get to pin your potential employer to the floor of their office mid-way though the interview and still get hired.

What a fascinating device! I'm almost afraid to take it apart to see how it works, in fear of not being able to get it back together properly. It must be terribly advanced sympathy to act as a communications device. I've never seen anything like it.
