[Someone got a hold of her mother's device when she wasn't looking and managed to turn on the video feed. The camera focuses on a blonde haired toddler with a sneaky grin on her face, showing her in a bed room that's either not hers or said toddler's taste are very mature.

The feed's also shaky because she keeps moving it around, smiling at the small screen that shows her image.

Yesterday was October 6, the Black Day for Romans. It's the Anniversary of Arausio, when the Roman Armies fell to the German tribes in 105 BC.

But! There are other, better holidays this month, and we should celebrate some of them.

Meditrinalia is October 11, and it's the day that Romans try the new wine vintage.

Equus October is the 15th, and there are horse chariot races. This could be fun. I'm not getting into the sacrificing of horses, though.

So I'm really not sure which was more fun - the rides, or the food.

That was some of the most fattening, most delicious awesome food I've ever had in my life.

Although I think I'll pass on the fried turkey legs.
