So in the latest of "did they seriously just say that", I bring you this story from work.

I was talking to one of the department managers about something, she was trying to get her handheld scanner to stop dying on her -- seriously, those things have been at the store since forever -- and this customer comes up to us, gets our attention so she could ask a question.

Okay, cool. I'm with them on that because answering questions is a good part of my job. She lost me at the question, though. "Do you work here?"

To which I promptly responded "Nah, I just wear the uniform for fun."
