I'm used to people not knowing what they're doing with an axe. I'm used to people doing stupid shit with an axe. What will never stop surprising me, though, are those special people who somehow manage to get the handle embedded in the target and not the blade.

Like the guy today who got it in there so deeply it took me five minutes to work it out. That's some kind of impressive right there.

The handle is wood, right? Because wood through wood is like, hurricane or tornado type stuff.

Momentum and impact force are amazing things. As is human stupidity.

I fear for that guy just walking around.

I feel like he's probably a frequent flyer in the ER.

Sounds like you need someone around to yank things out of the targets for you.

And how strong was this guy?

He managed to get it at just the right height that I was working with awkward. I'm short, this shit sucks.

I don't know if he was strong so much as he was really lucky.

You should probably hire a shifter to do that sort of thing for you. Let them handle the crap jobs.

I'd ask if you wanna, but I know you have a job.

It doesn't mean I can't stop in occasionally if you need help.

Keeps me from being too bored, and it's winter, so not a lot of work for my job.

How the hell did anyone manage to do that?

I doubt they have super strength or anything, but damn. I'm just glad it wasn't someone's body.

Sounds like some people could use a lot more weapons training.

There are no words for how much training some of these people need.

But you let them do it anyway? Isn't that dangerous?

We make them sign waivers. Plus we have refused a couple of people who came in absolutely not taking anything seriously.

Oh, okay. I mean, it's just weird because I've been training with weapons since I could walk so I can't imagine crazy people who've never held an axe just throwing them around.
