Museum's New Year's Eve

A winter Wonderland black tie event.

New Year's Eve | Museum | Technically 21+, but definitely over 18. | Join In!

Join the museum and escape into the middle of what feels like a fairy version of Winter. Even the food follows the theme, like powdered sugar doughnuts arranged to look like trees, includng the alcohol served. For this event, Rebekah and Claudia ask for a winter clothing donation from those attending.

There is also a display of Alyssa's art that she donated. All proceeds will go towards youth art programs in the town.

I don't really know how I feel after being visited by Tony. It was nice, nice because I could tell him things that I wish I could have told him before what happened happened. Things that I wish I could have asked him for advice on. Things that happened after he was gone.

He listened. And he gave advice. And I know now more than I ever did before that he was really, really proud of me. And that he still is, even if he's not around to say it or show it.

But at the same time, everything hurts a lot more than it has for awhile. I might have gotten some closure, but that loss feels a lot more raw now. It's not as bad as right after he died, but it's still right up there, because now I'm reminded more than ever of what I'd been missing. And yeah, maybe I don't need it, but I want it. And even if I get to see him here again, I won't ever get to see him again when I go back home.

I just wish there had been something I could have done.

So You Woke Up On a Cruise Ship

First of all - don't panic. I know that's easier said than done, but panicking isn't going to improve or change the situation. This is my third time, so I'll share what I've learned.

Charge everything to your cabin - don't worry about having/needing money. Yes, this includes shore excursions. No, I have no idea how it works.

Your pets are fine - as far as they will know, we were never gone.

No, you can't change rooms - you can try, but from experience, you will likely end up waking up in the same place every morning.

At least I'm not heavily pregnant this time. I gave birth on the first cruise. Guess I'll have to adjust Stephanie's birthday plans.

Cruise Day 1 - Texts/Private Networks

This morning all characters will wake up in a room on the Royal Princess. Room Assignments are here and it's up to you if the room has one queen size bed or two twins.

The weather will be 50-65 F/10-18 C. The full itinerary is here.

Characters can find clothes and a copy of the itinerary in their room. They will not need money on the trip as they will be able to charge everything to their cabin. Pets (and Pokemon) are not coming and will be placed in stasis back in town.

We know a lot of people may want to send private networks to check in on their friends/loved ones, so as we did for Mother's Day/Father's Day, we're going to ask you to use this post for all of those networks/texts rather than flooding the friends page with them. Obviously you are still welcome to post open networks along with logs.
