So, how are things on the Save Terry front? I have other news. A few nights ago, I ran into General Zod. I probably should have run or called backup right away. That was a mistake on my part. We fought. It was a very dangerous battle, he got in the most strikes.. and, I need to replace a few broken windows and lightposts, as well as a car. I clearly need more training than what I know so far. I'd be willing to learn from anyone that can teach.

I had to stop him or try to. He threatened to go after all of you. After Kara, Bart, Raya, and then humans. I had managed to draw him away from traffic and toward the beach, to the ocean. Figured it would be less casualties that way. But something unexpected happened. You know those Lazarus Pits, the ones everyone is concerned about? Well... let's just say he took a dip. I'm not completely sure how it affected him. I know he had not demanded any kneeling or made threats.. not even a dirty remark about my mother.

I've enjoyed being able to serve all of you, but this just isn't me. Ownership passed to me when my ex-fiance disappeared and I've done my best, but it's time to help the city in my own way instead of trying to fill the shoes of Lex Luthor.

What happened with Isobel has made me reevaluate my life. I love to help people, but I haven't enjoyed running the place for a while now. It was left to me by Lex Luthor, along with the mansion and everything else that was his. Maybe that was his way of helping the city, but I don't think it's mine.

What I would ask of you would be to offer the current residents the same that you would offer a new arrival. I don't want to just dump them out on the street.

If you are on this filter, it means I, Lana Lang, trust you with my life and the lives of my makeshift family (or you are that makeshift family). I don't know every one of you personally, but some of you I trust by association, or in Batman's case reputation. Point is, there's a problem, and I need your help.

I was recently possessed by one of my ancestors, Countess Margerite Isobel Theroux. She lived in the 17th century and was burned at the stake as a witch. Sometime before her death, she managed to cast a spell, and by touching a symbol her tomb (which somehow made it to Los Angeles and my home), I now bear the same symbol on my back that allows her to take possession of my body.

I know this is the Kryptonian symbol for water (which is apparently considered "the element of transference"), but what I don't know is how to remove it. This has happened before, in my home world, and although it looks like a tattoo, there is no ink. It can't be removed by normal means. The last time it disappeared, Isobel killed a descendant of the woman who had her burned with a Kryptonian crystal. While it could be said that avenging her death put her spirit to rest, I believe it had more to do with the crystal than anything else. The problem is, that crystal doesn't exist here, and I have no other leads on how to remove this mark.

Please, if any of you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I don't want to hurt anyone.

This is ten years worth of information on the man who calls himself The Joker. About ten minutes ago there was an explosion that ranged from [address] to [address]. About two city blocks, gone. Injury reports are still coming in, but already I'm already hearing twenty and many more injured. The Joker isn't a demon, he's not a vampire, he's not anyone with any power aside from a near genius intellect in chemistry, weaponry, and blowing things to hell. That said, underestimate him at your peril. I'm well aware that he looks like a clown, but the man is a menace and he's like a cockroach. I can't count the number of times I've seen him 'die', only to reappear again. Jail cells won't hold him, aside from that, he's not easily caught and the one person who I know can isn't here.

I already warned Gabriel, but don't taunt him. Don't challenge him. Don't try and push him over an edge. He'll accept your challenge and you will have alerted him to your existence, which isn't something you really want to do, believe me. If you're out and you see him, don't approach him unless-- well, just don't. Not directly, at any rate, and if you do please, please, please make sure you have some sort of plan. He will not. I would tell the entire city of Los Angeles, but when you tell the general public something like that, that just tends to make them more curious. I'm just assuming that the few of you are sensible enough to at least consider this advice. The Joker and I have a history, and I know exactly what he's capable of this. This isn't just from nowhere.

Like I said, the Joker won't have a plan. He doesn't do plans. He does chaos. That's essentially all he wants. I can't tell you what he'll do next, but I can tell you that I'm currently watching all hospitals, hospices, business centers, homeless shelters... basically anywhere where there are innocent and helpless people. Residents of the Isis, and those of you who work at the Welcome Center? You could be targets. Again, I can't say anything for sure, but he likes chaos and he likes confused innocents. He might rob a bank and then burn the money. He'll take hostages and then kill them after his demands are met. Just because.

Just be careful. And if any of you can spare some superpowers for down town, I'm sure the EMTs and fire departments would appreciate it.
