It's become all kinds of trendy being so close to the New Year and all so I guess it's our turn now! JUSTICE LEAGUE ROLL CALL.

We don't really have ranks except maybe if you're Batman and I hope I don't get yelled at for doing this if he wanted t But I was curious to who all is here. I think you all know me, I'm Virgil Hawkins. Static to the Justice League. I think it's time we have a headcount and possibly a recruiting session. There are a few new faces in the city, so this seemed like a good plan.

We work together with Angel Investigations and cover the more human side of big bads in the city. Just because our specialty is more with the citizens that doesn't mean being part of the Justice League will get you out of vampire-duty. We were given powers and with that the ability to help anyway we can.

Being part of the Justice League means exactly that. Helping others. Making the world a safer place and doing as much good along the way as we are able.

That being said don't be shy, we don't bite (much). If you prefer a "screened" response that's fine too, I wasn't to keen on the sharing of my identity at first either.

Thanks everyone for all the gifts, I really like them all. If you need me, I'll be in the kitchen hitting people with flying my new helicopter!

I'm not seeing them anymore. The ghosts. How about everyone else? They gone? You're not still seeing images from your past? I hope things can get back to normal.

Mine were.. alright. Saw a few from my own past. Lex was probably the worst of it. I was suddenly reminded how delusional he really was toward the end. Thought he was the hero, that it was his sole right to save everyone by himself. His views were.. warped. Still wonder if I could have done better And he had that ring. Traded punches after every other verbal dig into my past mistakes.

Hey, I probably already did this. But I want to thank you again for your help. I probably would be a lot worse off if you had not shown up when you did. Maybe even dead That was a sweet trick, though. But damn.. Lex was a real fruitcake, wasn't he? I think I understand now where Tess got a few of her traits from.

I got to hug my mom for the first time ever. I don't know how..it doesn't make sense if they're ghosts that we can touch them, but I don't think I care. I was starting to forget her. I thought I was gonna lose my memory of her because I couldn't remember what she was like. But she was here. I think...maybe it was really her. She didn't hurt me, she was proud of me. Isn't that what moms are like?

So I'm minding my own business. Kicking bad guy culo. Taking names. Looking ridiculously good in leather while I do it, if I do say so myself. I had just given this hombre talking to, when I spotted another bastardo coming out of nowhere. Can I point out how rude it is to try and sneak up on somebody? Anyway, I was all ready to shout out 'Hark who goes there!', when I ended up here.

Now. My theories are brain injury and concussion from that wall my head .. grazed or in truth I've fallen through the rabbit hole and in the next few seconds a cat suffering from Delusional Disorder will come up to me and tell me that this is all a wonderful life.

Brain damage. Or insanity. What's your theory. Feel free to discuss. I'm curious. My theory is insanity. Seeing as people here seem to think vampires exist and there are a lot of websites devote to Kent. It's disturbing

And did you know that my laptop isn't here? And that I'm not very happy about that? I thought you all should know. Hopefully, you'll be nice enough to point me to the direction of the person I should beat up blame.

ETA: Anyone want to tell me why Metropolis isn't on any maps but it shows up on wiki? Under comics?

You know, having a knife held to your throat is really not fun for anyone. Just when you thought Walmart was safe. Then again, it's L.A., and night isn't always the best time, especially in a section of the lot that's not well lit. Still.. it could have been worse. Least it wasn't a bunch of troops with guns and other weapons again. Didn't really hurt, though. Just a bit of a poke. It was a bit tense for a moment. That mugger really wasn't playing around. He really wanted to cut me, and all for a game system But it's fine now. He's alive too, so it all works out.

The thing works quite nicely, especially on those flat-screen HD television sets. Not sure it'd look well on the regular TVs. Another funny thing about that amnesia thing, not once did I go to a fancy, five star restaurant. All fast food and microwave dinners. Of course, I go to the good places now. But then.. well. I liked KFC. Mmm, fried chicken. I like fried chicken now. Best I had, though, was Popeye's Chicken. Damn, that's good! Love chicken. I'd probably eat it every night. I can't believe how many Popeye's there are here. Guarantee you'd run across a few. Google search turned up at six to eight branches in this city. Can't really blame them, chicken is really good.

Hey, guys. Have you seen the news? A good number of crimes were stopped. And.. at each scene, the symbol of my family crest is sprayed there. But I found out some disturbing things. There was a group of guys tied up, looked like gangbangers. Turns out they were working undercover. And one guy that was being chased by a wild animal to a police station.. it was NOT a perp wanting to confess. It was a reporter that looked the part. And another incident where evidence was turned in, but the document was tarnished, dirty, and barely readable by the time the authorities got it.

I have my suspicions. But I don't want to make a mistake here, on the chance that I might be wrong. Could be anything, just want to make sure. So.. alright, people. Any theories? Ideas? Bounce some of your thoughts on me. And Bruce, thanks for the voice-altering device for my phone. I'll be using that to contact that fan twins shortly. Maybe they know about this.

Heat vision sucks. Bad. It's a good thing that my powers sorta help me heal a bit faster than normal people, otherwise it would be worse but really. I advise not pissing off a Kryptonian and being at the receiving end, it's not a fun party.Clark..I swear if you switch sides again.. In need of a recharge now. But it's to hard to even get out of bed like this, and even harder to find a sufficient fuse box to tap into without blowing power to the entire block. Totally water logged and heat visioned out. Thanks for fishing me out of the water Bart..I guess I should learn to swim one of these days.

... I don't even know where to begin. They took our minds and twisted them, but I can't say that without sounding hypocritical What they did. Just.. what happened. I think we are exactly who we're supposed to be right now. Pftt, as if we need outside help in seeing how it could be otherwise.

I was in a hospital. I had a crappy home and TV. And car! And had a BOSS too. Over me. So glad I have my company back. And my last name was Salvatore? Please. I know that being born in Rome and living here now sorta makes me an Italian-American, but come on. I thought things. Believed things. I actually believed in God, praised Him, went to church a lot. Excuse me wile I hurl. Times like this when I wish I could get drunk. Oh! And I have my nice clothes back too. And my maids and butlers. We all have our lives back and that's a good thing.

It's funny, though.. one little part of it. I am glad I am no longer in the dark about why I don't get poisoned, or why I was seeing things in other people's eyes, or why I was like an encyclopedia when I talked to a patient about history. Is it bad that I still want to visit them a while longer But I just love it when people I'm not supposed to see or talk to, they just come along and see me anyway, when I'm at a vulnerable stage. Sounds like a villain move, and it really says something about a person when they're an alleged good guy. Really, it's great. So glad I could be the tail end of your jokes. Not as funny as a certain joke by the future guys, but whatever.

And no, he's not scoping out Thorn's home, I already checked

I feel so much better now that I don't need an arm sling or crutches. That was a very close call. I feel like singing. Praise the Lord, it's so good to be alive, Amen brothers.. no, I better stop that before I get struck down mysteriously But I have an idea, for maybe next week, or the week after. I can give everyone at work a day off, instead using the lot as a setting for an outside feast. Like a bake sale or something. Cake, donuts, rotisserie chicken, ribs, drinks, punch, cotton candy.. the works. Maybe a few games too. You know, like a dunking pool, baseball cage, or something.

And those bins by the left area of the building. Those are free for anyone to donate canned food, old toys they don't want anymore, or clothes. They usually go to shelters or to anyone that needs it. I know we don't get snow.. but California can still get cold in winter. There's plenty of stuff in there for the moment, but every little bit helps. Oh, and.. that little feast idea. It'd be open to the public, so pretty much anyone is welcome. It's just a matter of picking a good sunny day for it. That way there would be little to no chance of rainclouds ruining it. Side note, though... my company is still hiring if anyone wants to make more money.

So...I convinced Bruce to get out of that stuffy old manor for one day. Actual day without demons and fighting..and now I don't know what to suggest we do. Everything we've done has been at night, vampire interruptions, and comm links..I just want one normal day with my dad. I have no idea what people do during the day anymore. Any suggestions?

I know for a fact he doesn't like musicals. So lets not go there. I thought it was pretty good, but that was just me I guess. For his birthday one year in Gotham I took him to this "Celebration of Batman" musical. The tickets were hard to get and he ended up leaving half way through.

That was the strangest patrol I've been on in a while. I've heard it the past few nights I've been out, but didn't really think anything of it the first time. I thought they were just toying with me. Tonight I heard it everywhere I went. Demons were talking about it in more than one of my usual stops. "Something's coming in the dark." I tried to get more information, but when I pressed the only thing they could tell me was about boots. Any ideas?

I don't think I've ever run so many red lights in my life. I think I even out ran a cop. That wasn't really my fault. I couldn't tell he was there, because he was all tiny and little in the mirrors by the time he turned on the lights. Did you realize half the cars in Bruce's garage can go from 0 to 60 in under 10 seconds? That was only the first row of Bentley's. There's still the BMW's and the Z3's, and a few dozen motorcycles to try. I dunno where this came from. But we just have so many, many cars and we only ever drive one. It just doesn't seem fair to the rest of them to sit there and get all dusty. Sometimes they're even driven by our driver. It's Car discrimination I tell you! Pure and simple. Lets see, I've already gotten through about ten cars. I should be done by morning. Or maybe tomorrow morning. I think I can do this all night.

Man, I really should have thought ahead for costumes in the summer. The trench coat really pulls the whole look together, but mixing with already hot electricity and summer heat? Kinda fails. I didn't realize it would get so bad. It was hot in Dakota but we were pretty inland so I was used to it. I got so comfortable with the cool breeze here it made it harder to adjust. It makes even an hour patrol difficult. I guess I should just be happy the sunspots aren't around anymore ontop of this heat, and nobody really saw what happened yesterday. Thanks again Cyborg.

What's the average tooth go for these days? Lian's got her first loose one, and I want to know how much she'll be expecting from the Tooth Fairy.

I'm just hoping she doesn't try building a trap again, lest we have a repeat of the infamous Easter '08 Incident. I've made it through supervillain lairs without getting caught, but I wasn't expecting to be caught by a web of string, bells and bubble wrap in my own living room.
