Well, the Lovers' Butterflies have already come in handy once. And Alpha has decided to re-stock the shop alphabetically to practice his English.

While I'm doing this, I may as well also make the rooms above my shop available to anyone who needs a place to sleep for a few days. There's room enough for a few people.

Oh, wow, okay. When I woke up this morning I totally had no idea I'd be in LA! It's really not where I was headed but hey.. Free travel! Oh yeah! You know that I should actually be a little freaked out by this.. but you know what? I haven't sensed seen a single bad ghost evil teacher who is out to destroy my education around here since I've gotten here. This might just be a vacation. If only LA didn't look like Vlad threw up all over it. Seriously, who'd want to vacation here?

This is positively absurd! I do not understand the state of this...nation. How can a body function without a leader that was born into the position? How can you trust someone who did not grow up in the heart of the lands, immersed in the proper documentation and surrounded by those who govern, to ensure a country's safety? I hear this is supposedly the grandest, most powerful nation on Earth. Oh, how much the New World has changed...in my time, it was only barely discovered - a vast, savage place filled with heathens who hoarded their undeserving riches.

And what is this House of Windsor? Who is this Queen Elizabeth II? Since when did a woman hold the right to rule England suo jure? This makes no sense. England - at least my England - would never expect a female to rule. More importantly, what happened to my Dynasty? Why isn't there a Tudor sitting upon the English throne?

I don't think King approves of my being corporeal. I've told him that I'll be fine, but of course he seems to think that I'm as helpless as the small girl I resemble. I don't think it matters how often I tell him that I'm not going to marry him; he's still going to treat me as if I'm his wife.

At least I got a second set of Nightmare Candies, so if I have to send out the first set I'll have a backup. I also got in a few Lovers' Butterflies, which I'd forgotten about. I'm sure they'll come in useful here.

It's my birthday today. I only just remembered. I'm seventeen, now.

Wow! There's a whole lot of English here! Rin-sama says that it's the same way all over this country, but I've only ever been in Tokyo, so I wouldn't know. And I haven't really been alive that long, either. Gosh, has it been as long as two years?? I'll bet it has! Wow! A whole two years!

(I'm actually supposed to be stocking the new items, but Rin-sama had this computer out, so I wanted to try it!)

It seems like there are a whole bunch of people on this network, and most of them seem to be pretty used to unusual stuff happening, so that's good!

Why is this happening to me? One moment, I was training back in the Fire Nation and now I'm stuck here in this weird city. Where is everyone? I'd give almost anything to see a familiar face...

Maybe this is where Azula and Ty Lee disappeared to...and maybe him as well.

Little things with sharp, pointy teeth, oh where are your balls now? You come out to play with the Scarlet Witch...and you get hurt. Naturally, whatever they were, they have no thoughts of self preservation.

Los Angeles is a little more crowded than it was the last time I was here. I guess that's what you get when the basic forces for Good and Evil decide to rip a hole in space/time and drag people out of their home dimensions.

The shop looks nice, I have to admit; it's been a while since it's been corporeal, so I was a little nervous, but everything's settled into place with admirable speed. I have to wonder where the Phoenix Pinions went, though, because I'm sure I had two, and they're not in their proper places right now. I suppose I can ask Alpha if he's seen them.

Goodness, but I love technology. It seems as if it's moving forward in leaps and bounds every time I take a glance at it. I remember when it was still popular to use birds for messages; goodness knows enough lost pigeons found themselves showing up at the shop by accident.



Hello! I'm Rin. Alpha, my assistant, may also find his way onto this network occasionally; I'm sure he'll try, at least, though without actual fingers, there's no telling how he'll type.
