Is it bad that the main reason I'm upset about the sun being gone is that my plant died? The leaves fell off of it and everything.

Happy Valentines Day for tomorrow, is it? I didn't even know it existed but I went to the store and there were pretty heart balloons everywhere. I asked the man what they were for and he laughed at me until he realized I actually was being serious. It sounds like a lovely day, really. Does anyone want to be my Valentine? I was just wondering - everyone seems to be getting into the whole swing of it.

I do not understand how this works. I push little squares, and words appear on the screen. I did not believe this would work, but I was told people would be able to read this once I 'updated' this thing. Such a strange kind of magic. What ever happened to a brush and ink?

My name is Princess Shinkokami. I am an Imperial Princess from the Yamani Island, engaged to marry the Crown Prince of Tortall, which would make me Tortall's future Queen. But it seems...no one here has ever heard of the Yamani Islands, or of Tortall. In other words, I don't belong here. I want nothing more than to go home before something bad happens from my disappearance. Does anyone have magic strong enough for such a task?

This place is so strange. People are inside Killing Machines, or what looks like Killing Machines. Yet they are fine, they move around in them, very fast. I think I'd rather stick to horses. I was attacked by two Immortals with distorted faces. They turned to dust. I've never heard of these kind of Immortals. But I think I prefer them to Stormwings.

Are there places for people who show up, yet should not be here? Since it seems I will not be back in the Royal Wing tonight, I'd be very happy for an Inn? The buildings here are so large, they all look the same.

And the sun. The sun is gone. Who would do such a thing, and risk angering Mithros?
