PARABOLICAL GRAFFITI

I'm in need of a babysitter for my daughter. I'm afraid I can't send her to a normal preschool, as that didn't work out very well the first time we tried it. I wouldn't be attempting to find one, but it's very hard to find a job in this city that accommodates to having a young child. Tabitha—that's my daughter—is going to be five in October.

This would be much easier if not for the fact that she has a tendency to turn her classmates into butterflies. That's not to say she would turn her babysitter into a butterfly; I promise, she's much better behaved in a controlled environment without many other children around. She's very sweet and she would behave. Her father and I don't encourage her to use her abilities very often. You see, she's a witch.

We have an apartment and everything, and we're just down the street from a park. She's easily entertained, I just need someone to watch her while I attempt to find a job, and then hopefully when I've finally gotten one. It would be a fairly regular job, but I would be paying you appropriately.

I do hope someone replies. It's high time for me to finally try to find a job. This current lifestyle is simply unacceptable.

This is not what I was expecting when she said 'message board'

Even with our voices back (and I do hope that doesn't happen here often) I'm afraid I'm still a bit lost. I was told to try and get in touch with... the Hyperion Hotel? How would one do that? The woman at the desk here didn't seem to believe that I wouldn't know how to use one of these machines.

I guess with a voice again, that would be the logical next course of action. Tabitha's beginning to suspect that this isn't a grand adventure her father will meet her at the end of.
