You know what? Sometimes I think this city sucks. There's good parts, like weddings. That was really cool. But this business of bringing people in and then sending them back.. what the Hell. Is anyone safe. I keep trying to call someone. But it won't work. That's what's really sucking now. Oh yeah, and almost getting jumped outside a store by some testosterone heavy jock. That was a close one too. I went to high school, yeah? But never really had any problems. This guy kinda took the cake. He was like the ones in Odessa but ten times more jerky. Must be the tropical weather.

I'm fine, don't worry. There was a bit of handling. But then some guy came to my aid. That was a surprise. Had some mental thing going on, made the guy get away from me and go home. Knew things about him just by staring for a while. I'm wondering if he's special like those ones I met back home. Like my sis, West, Elle, or Peter Probably a good thing he was getting something the same time I was. Though he sure had a lot to talk about afterward. He even fixed the light so I could cross the street. I still don't understand, with all I heard. Why would a bad guy help me

Also wondering, anybody ever see that old show Greatest American Hero? Main guy was also on Perry Mason TV films. Blond teacher in red tights, got a suit from aliens, but lost the manual? So he can use power and fly, but his landings suck. And his partner is a Fed. What would you all think if he showed up here? I bet it would be funny. And hey, they came out with that "hero" song. You know.. looking for one, needs to be strong, fast.. something. I forget. I like it better than "Walking on air", though. Dude, seriously. Learn how to land.

There is something exceptionally satisfying in hunting down a nest of vampires and taking them all out. Even if I did end up spending most of the past week down the sewers and suspect I won't get the smell out of my hair for days.

And a second list of who is interested in joining my team. (either in a primary capacity, or a secondary capacity to Fred's research team- this means you report to her first and then to me if she doesn't need you and I need to make up the numbers.)

For those who don't know, I am Faith and I run the Offensive Team at Angel Investigations. Being on the Offensive Teams is a full time commitment. It's not easy and it's not casual. My team covers every single area of the city every single night without fail. This is regardless of who else is in the city at the time, we at AI make sure we cover the city, every night. We fight demons and vampires and do everything we can to protect the citizens of Los Angeles. Joining my team means three things.
1- Nightly patrols in pairs, on the route I assigned.
2- Training sessions with me, three times a week. This is not optional.
3- Reports after every single patrol. Again, this is not optional. I need to know exactly what was seen in which areas, and take the reports to Fred if more research is needed.

This is the regular routine, in addition there are complications if a new and improved bad guy hits the city. Also, we have the walk in-clients. The files get looked at by the command team and cases get assigned by us according to the relevant skills needed. So, let me know now who you are, so I can make sure this city is as protected as it can be.

Right, Now that we're past the big day and all that I'd like to know what comprises AI right now. Who's on the team, what they do, who wants to be on the team and what they can offer. Who lives in the hotel?

I'm still new at all this with this many people and this seems the best way.

Found a job. It's a security guard gig for some big time laboratory on the other side of the city. The pay is surprisingly decent for a job like that, so I'm probably going to end up looking for an apartment out there within the next couple days. I'm gonna need to live closer to work if I want to get there on time every day. I'll miss the house, but I really need the job. Plus, it's a foot in the door. History on a security team might actually stand for something solid if I decide to pursue some of the careers I was considering.

Now I'm off to sign up for internet classes. Not the same as going to a campus, but I'll settle for now. It's a start.

Oh, and thanks for the Christmas gifts. I really enjoyed them.
