I find it so amusing that even though it is considered a Christian holiday that copious amounts of alcohol are consumed. No one can wholly remove our pagan ways. One must admit we, pagans, did know how to throw a party.

But I do hope everyone is enjoying this day of celebration for the Saint of the Emerald Isle.

Here is to you St. Patrick. We were never too fond of snakes anyways.

Okay, so this world isn't that bad. You people have excellent taste in brews.

I...I actually had fun. I was surprised. Now it's back to serious business, I guess. Still, it was nice to forget about my troubles for a while and have fun. I didn't even have to get completely smashed. A few drinks and being around people celebrating was enough to make things seem better.

My head was pounding this morning. I think maybe I overdid it yesterday. But it was worth it. I had a lot of fun yesterday, more than I've had in a long time. Everybody was so joyous and carefree. It was overwhelming, but in a good way.

I think I danced on a table at one point. Or maybe it was my imagination. I'm not sure. It's a little embarrassing to think about. But it was worth it. A lot of people were celebrating, and everybody was acting outrageously. This city is so serious all the time. It was nice to just have fun and forget about all the problems plaguing me and the city.

Ugh. One, two, eight drinks later..I don't even remember getting home. Or how I got home, but I think I second it, no more drinking. Not for a reaaallly long time.

So I got my hands on a green and black outfit that looks like my suit, and went out last night.

Funniest. Night. Ever.

I must have gone to a half dozen different pubs. So many stories, so many pictures.

Never drinking again.

Wanting Ahab to fall at Ramothgilead, God asked the spirits in Heaven how he should do this. In the end, God gave a spirit permission to become a lying spirit in the mouths of all of Ahab's prophets.


I ran into some people who insisted on telling me about how God is an all benevolent being who vomits rainbows and sunshine. That's what inspired what I wrote above. Except for that very first part.

Something normal? This is normal for me. One man's normal is another man's absurdity.

It just took from the beginning of time until now. I don't know if I should be surprised, or not.

I never thought I'd think or say such things as I am now. But then again, I never thought I'd have a conversation like the one I just had. To be everything you thought it would be, but at the same time, not even close. Both amazed and let down. Everything I wanted, just a little too late.

I used to get in trouble for trying to eavesdrop all of the time when I was younger. Mum was always on my back for that, especially when they were trying to keep me from finding out what had happened to Sirius. Though no that I'm older, of course, I realise it's completely rude, and bloody annoying. Makes you look a bit of a prat too, when you can't keep your nose in your own business.

And now I'm just in a mood. Bloody hair's all black and tangled too, with mum's nose. Just wonderful.

I'm about five minutes from turning off the computers here and confiscating cell phones from all of you when you return.
