I've had enough of the weird and the frightening now, thanks.

My old life with a side of seclusion would be awesome.

So I never heard of St.Patrick's day until it was mentioned on the boards, I got curious. I WILL NEVER GET CURIOUS AGAIN. Little.green.people... Theirs a legend about a 600 year old leprechaun who's known simply as "The Leprechaun". never good when they're just named "the" something His coins were stolen and he was sealed away by some guy named o'Grady in an old house. Ten years later, some new people moved into the same house. Not knowing the history of the place. They freed the leprechaun on the same St.Patrick's day it was sealed in. It threatened to bite off ears and use them for shoes if it didn't get it's gold. It never did, the well it fell into was cursed.

Now I'm officially creeped.
[T.K.]
...Theirs no evil living history in your apartment is there? That you, y'know forgot to tell me?..now would be a good time. A really good time.

Sigil magic is a pain in the ass to perform, but sometimes necessary. Especially with people who come into your room when you're gone, and leave things for you.

Do something you enjoy. Then, consciously forget about it, but subconsciously remember it.

Oh, isn't this the day where people wear green for absolutely no reason, except for the fear of being pinched if they don't wear green? Who came up with that tradition?

I don't know what this St. Patrick's Day is (reading up on that now), or what it commemorates, but getting drunk until I forget my current situation is a tempting proposition. I keep hearing about St. Patrick's day from people and drinking, so maybe I should give it a try. I know, it's hardly the proper way to deal with things, but I've had my brain overloaded with enough surprises for a while. A little relaxing wouldn't hurt.

Technically, we aren't supposed to do that, but a few of us always found ways around it. It may be a rumor, but I've heard from various sources that Master Kenobi favored a drink or two while he was on missions. Of course, it's not the same as losing one's inhibitions, but...overall it's interesting how he doesn't hesitate to indulge a bit.

Green alcohol, though? Reminds me of an Andoan ale.

Since Cardiff my flat is currently who knows where in the universe, can anyone recommend an alternative around here?

[Torchwood] Please remember that getting drunk today is an option, not a requirement. That said, enjoy the drinks I left in the kitchen for you. Sensibly.

[Jack Harkness] You still owe me.

[Ethan Thomas] Mr. Thomas, can I trouble you for a moment of your time?
