I was swinging by one of the less than evil demon bars and it seems like someone's had a party in there. One of the demons... I knew him. Kinda. Bit of a jerk, a couple of minions but he wasn't eating babies or anything. And he was alright for good Intell if you bought him a drink or two. And no one's talking about what happened. And ok, Slayer here, but I mean really not talking, even when I was being nice. All I'm hearing was... it wasn't quick.

I know there's a lot of bad in this city, believe me. And I'm not blaming anyone if they're new and instantly thought 'demons=badness' It's just...

Not all the demons here are evil y'know?

It's good to be back. It's weird.. when I was back home in Metropolis, I seemed to have forgotten my time here. Felt like it was all a dream. It felt like a year ago, but here only about a month went by. I have stories.

But being here again? I think the memories are slowly starting to come back. It might take time to process all that. And I could.. fly? Weird, I didn't fly back home, though it felt that way when I jumped up to Zatanna on the roof. I am still thinking about getting a job. But maybe I should stick to what I do best, full-time, as I did before. But moreso. No distractions

If you need any outside assistance with natural or not disasters or missions requiring a group effort, I can be made available. I realize that some people have been sent back to their worlds by The Powers. It's that way on our end as well. I know how trying that can be, I've begun to remember one or two of them recently. Like Raya.. along with the feelings I had then. But on the other hand, some of the evil ones vanished too. Zod might have been among those. Which I am very grateful for. That was one threat the city can do without.

You know, sometimes I look at the people and I think, why do we even bother? Sometimes it feels that no matter how much some of us do, it's never enough and people are always whining that we should do more. Not just put ourselves at risk to protect them, but cuddle them afterward. So it makes me start to think, do people ever stop to think are they worth being saved? Why do we keep doing it?

And then I remember. Because some people invent things like tequila. And tequila makes it all worth while.

Normally, if anyone is going to be ill in one of my classes, it's the kids. It's no surprise, given the viruses they come in with from home and the complete lack of hand washing, tissue using, and mouth covering. I don't go over two weeks without someone in the younger classes going home sick after throwing up in the bathrooms during flu season.

Today completely skewed my average.

The Joker thought it would be... funny to send dead puppies to my classroom. Among other things The few kids who saw had to go home after crying for a good thirty minutes ending in dry heaves and I can't say I blame them. I managed to wait until they were gone to be ill myself. It wouldn't have gotten to me, but well... it's not the kind of thing you actually expect at work. Happy birthday, right?

Normally I wouldn't mention this here, but just in case anyone hadn't figured out how sick he was? There you go. I've never done anything to him aside from being my father's daughter. I get sent to an entirely different universe and he's still here, terrorising me. I'm not the police commissioner; I'm not my father. I'm just a librarian and a second grade substitute teacher, yet here we are. I'm a wheelchair and there were dead beagles in my classroom.

Ok, so here's the deal. The three of you are people that I've either fought alongside, spoken to ro been recommended by someone I trust. There's a situation coming to LA and as much as my pride wants to insist I can handle it alone, there's too much at stake.

I'm a Slayer. I'm one of three living here in LA, out of a thousand or so working worldwide and 1800 altogether. There used to only be one until a witch I know did a spell to activate all the Potentials in the world to full Slayers.

And now there's a group of vampires who want to reverse the spell and strip us of our powers. They've already killed at least one Slayer. And they're coming here. To LA. And we need help.

They come here, they won't just limit their attentions to us Slayers. They'll kill everything and everyone they come across.

So I guess what I'm asking, both as a Slayer and as the Head of Offensive Teams at Angel Investigation is, will you let us train you in how to fight vampires of this level so you can help us?

I'd like to request a large group go down to respond to this. This is going to turn into a problem for all of us if we let it get out of hand, and I'd like to think that we can work together on this one. Crowd control is going to take some hand to hand skill. As far as I can tell, these are humans plain and simple. They're armed to the nines, yes, but they shouldn't be too hard to disarm and knock to the side. But, as you can see, there are a lot of them, so yes, we need numbers. Quite honestly, I don't care how you disarm them because I'm asking for help that's not only from my people, I just want to know that it's being done and that the Joker is being searched for. Is that too much to ask?

One last thing: Please. Don't tell him we're coming. He knows we won't let this go unanswered, but come on, people. A little element of surprise, please?
