I think I'm almost settled into this place. It's going to take me sometime to get used to a busy city like this, after growing up in that small town. But, hey, I found a decent apartment, and I have some job prospects lined up.

I know I've spent too much time around possibly evil people when I spend part of an afternoon at the mall marvelling at people in the holiday spirit being all nice and helpful to each other instead of the shopping you went there to do. There was even this really sweet older lady who helped me repack things in my bags so it wouldn't be so bulky to carry.

But Girl Scouts are sneaky! They come up to you in their little uniforms and are all cute and sweet and you feel compelled to buy cookies from them. At least four boxes. It's a good thing I like Thin Mints.

I read in the news paper today that a woman in New York murdered the two women her husband was cheating on her with. Then she went on to say that it wasn't because she was jealous, she just wanted to prove she was better.

The more I try to understand humans, the more they confuse me. I'm starting to think I'm never going to get it. They get mad when something is destroyed by accident while trying to save lives, like a car getting smashed. But then when I heard comments on the article, some people were saying that the husband shouldn't have been cheating, and that he almost had it coming.
