PARABOLICAL GRAFFITI

It's become all kinds of trendy being so close to the New Year and all so I guess it's our turn now! JUSTICE LEAGUE ROLL CALL.

We don't really have ranks ~~except maybe if you're Batman and I hope I don't get yelled at for doing this if he wanted t~~ But I was curious to who all is here. I think you all know me, I'm Virgil Hawkins. Static to the Justice League. I think it's time we have a headcount and possibly a recruiting session. There are a few new faces in the city, so this seemed like a good plan.

We work together with Angel Investigations and cover the more human side of big bads in the city. Just because our specialty is more with the citizens that doesn't mean being part of the Justice League will get you out of vampire-duty. We were given powers and with that the ability to help anyway we can.

Being part of the Justice League means exactly that. Helping others. Making the world a safer place and doing as much good along the way as we are able.

That being said don't be shy, we don't bite (much). If you prefer a "screened" response that's fine too, I wasn't to keen on the sharing of my identity at first either.

Thanks everyone for all the gifts, I really like them all. If you need me, I'll be in the kitchen ~~hitting people with~~ flying my new helicopter!

Naming seamonkey's is harder than it looks. We've got Aquaman, Batman, and Terry. But there are six in the packet that Bart gave me, it even says they are trainable. I think they should be like the Justice League of Seamonkeys. Each one with little super powers.

I'm not seeing them anymore. The ghosts. How about everyone else? They gone? You're not still seeing images from your past? I hope things can get back to normal.

Mine were.. alright. Saw a few from my own past. Lex was probably the worst of it. I was suddenly reminded how delusional he really was toward the end. Thought he was the hero, that it was his sole right to save everyone by himself. His views were.. warped. ~~Still wonder if I could have done better~~ And he had that ring. Traded punches after every other verbal dig into my past mistakes.

Hey, I wanted to ask something important. Do you have a place to stay? Because if you want to, you could stay with me us at the Bradbury building. We're mostly well behaved here. And we have a team that fights evil together. I can't think of any reason why you'd be prevented from joining that. Unless you'd prefer to fly solo for now, that is alright too. But as for living quarters, there are plenty of rooms here.

You know, having a knife held to your throat is really not fun for anyone. Just when you thought Walmart was safe. Then again, it's L.A., and night isn't always the best time, especially in a section of the lot that's not well lit. Still.. it could have been worse. Least it wasn't a bunch of troops with guns and other weapons again. Didn't really hurt, though. Just a bit of a poke. It was a bit tense for a moment. That mugger really wasn't playing around. ~~He really wanted to cut me, and all for a game system~~ But it's fine now. He's alive too, so it all works out.

The thing works quite nicely, especially on those flat-screen HD television sets. Not sure it'd look well on the regular TVs. Another funny thing about that amnesia thing, not once did I go to a fancy, five star restaurant. All fast food and microwave dinners. Of course, I go to the good places now. But then.. well. I liked KFC. Mmm, fried chicken. I like fried chicken now. Best I had, though, was Popeye's Chicken. Damn, that's good! Love chicken. I'd probably eat it every night. I can't believe how many Popeye's there are here. Guarantee you'd run across a few. Google search turned up at six to eight branches in this city. Can't really blame them, chicken is really good.

Hey, guys. Have you seen the news? A good number of crimes were stopped. And.. at each scene, the symbol of my family crest is sprayed there. But I found out some disturbing things. There was a group of guys tied up, looked like gangbangers. Turns out they were working undercover. And one guy that was being chased by a wild animal to a police station.. it was NOT a perp wanting to confess. It was a reporter that looked the part. And another incident where evidence was turned in, but the document was tarnished, dirty, and barely readable by the time the authorities got it.

I have my suspicions. But I don't want to make a mistake here, on the chance that I might be wrong. Could be anything, just want to make sure. So.. alright, people. Any theories? Ideas? Bounce some of your thoughts on me. And Bruce, thanks for the voice-altering device for my phone. I'll be using that to contact that fan twins shortly. Maybe they know about this.

good guy filter

Brushing up on my computer Languages with so much downtime I really don't know what else to do with it. Spent most of the day hanging around youtube and generally not being productive. I need to fix that and tune the Red Bird but I haven't really found a good auto part store yet. Any recommendations?

Just got back from my assignment. The penthouse here [location] seems a suitable spot for your next new client. I'd move in there if I didn't have one already. It was momentarily inhabited, but after a few mishaps and distractions, they had this crazy idea of giving it up for sale and moving out. ~~Flat tires, gusts of wind knocking the wife into the pool twice a day, wind blowing the man's coffee on himself, waking up to seeing their car upside down in the driveway~~

Don't worry, they never knew it was because of me. But perhaps now would be a good time for Wolfram and Hart to buy up the property so they can give it to whoever signs the contract soon. So now that I'm done, it's time go go on to the next thing that'll require my attention. Anyone else need anything? Lilah, any clients need security assistance soon? Claire and Sandy, do you need anything as well? ~~Maybe I can look after Lyle~~ Or maybe I could see if Mr. Malfoy requires any assistance.

Swung by the LAWC to meet with her but found signs of a fight, a struggle, Clary was unconcious and yes she's fine, but no sign of Cathy.

Clary knows the details but it was demons and a human and they must have taken her with them. Beyond that I don't know yet. Tried a real quick basic fire and a map of the City locator but the whole thing burned which means either not here or somewhere that blocks me.

Someone thats...y'know, leadery and better than me at this. Ideas?, Plans?

I know you're all capable and used to solo patrols but I'm partnering you all off for this one. Hey, guys? I don't know about you... but I got something in the mail. From the city courthouse. It's weird, I thought it was for jury duty or something. Last time I got this kind of thing was when I had to testify against Lionel. But it's a restraining order obtained by Thorn. ~~Don't know why, never actually went after him, just mostly spying~~ Doesn't it usually take a week or month for these things to process? This was quick... guess he really doesn't want us at his work's event. Anyone get this too? I have this feeling that I wasn't the only one who got government mail today.

... I've been thinking about home alot this morning, I had a weird dream last night that I was back in my house but nobody could see me or hear me. Right now it's probably raining, it used to do that in September through October..

Halloween is coming up. Everyone is probably getting ready for Fright Fest. Richie and I were always on the decorating team. It was a good excuse to blow off homework for a week. It might be kinda early to be thinking about Halloween already but ~~I needed the distraction~~ it might be fun if we decorated the Bradbury Building like a hell house, or haunted mansion or something. It's big, we could make separate rooms and stuff, maybe a maze.
