Well, this is interesting, to say the least. I'm pretty sure I didn't get drunk enough last night to wake up somewhere else. Still waiting to hear back from you. Ruby doesn't seem against patrolling together. And I told her what I'll tell you - it's important for us to start to learn how other fighters here work, so we can have anyone's back. You + Ruby + no one else ever isn't a smart plan for anyone in the long run.

People are talking about a Ruby 'smell' at The Factory, or something. Have you seen her around? Sam still hasn't gotten back to me about our patrol date. That isn't especially reassuring. You know, people keep saying that I'm not her, which is frankly both hurtful and insulting. I lived her life, just like she did. I used to feed the stray cat that wandered around and I cried when Gable killed it. I begged Mom for a puppy, nothing special, just one of the abandoned ones, something to love. Everything she did, I lived too. What, just because I got the fang end of the deal and she didn't, doesn't make me any less Faith Lehane.

Another one of ours has been "switched" or "taken" or whatever you want to call it. Either way Static is not to be trusted. He keeps saying something about 'Darkside' whatever that is, so unless you have some kind of death wish, or enjoy being extra crispy and electrocuted I'd advise you not to go after or try to catch him unless you've got some kind of telekinesis or something that can stop lightning.
