I visited the public library today. It was a good distraction. The selection was a little small. It was a bit disappointing. But I'll take what I can get. It isn't a good time to be picky.

I've spent some time lately just out on the streets, patrolling and the like, and it never fails to astound me how the people of this city can just ignore the things that find them in the dark and go on with their lives. Perhaps if they knew the truth they wouldn't understand it, or would get angry and try to rise up against it,

Sometimes things like that, attitudes like that are more dangerous than the things we fight.

Still the woman whose only comment to the one armed woman wielding a lightsaber who had just saved her from a vampire was asking if we would have to pay a litter fine for the pile of dust was strange even by my standards.

Summer is just around the corner. It's getting hot already. my powers aren't agreeing with it. Everything keeps clinging to me. I know my name's Static, but this is ridiculous. Times like this I almost wish I could swim. Or surf. Surfing looks fun.
