I have to say this Joker does keep his promises; this place has certainly become lively.

Who really needs to do anything in a place like this? Will these light shows be happening often? They're pretty.

So much fighting in one city. And over what? It's not even worth it. Spinning a web of lies and stories. Eventually, you'll get caught in it.

I went out on patrol tonight before the explosions. It's odd though, the places I always passed felt different. I've seen the news reports of the missing kids but still it's weird. Through the natural disasters and apocalypses these places never changed until now. The usual kids weren't there at the parks, or coffee places with parents across the street indoors once the sun went down. They were just, gone..It was quiet, eerily so. So I tried to find out what happened in more detail. Examine the scene, talk to some of the adults around, they didn't know anything...but from what I can tell anyway they weren't forcefully taken. Theirs no leads, nothing. Any ideas where they could go? I guess I'll check it out again during the day in better light, and see if I can find any more leads tomorrow before sunset.

On another note, I've been using my powers to phase through the rubble and debris. Theirs got to be a way to get to the bombs before they go off, faster than this. I've been in and out of buildings and homes, pulling people bodies from the rubble the best I can all night.

...I wish I could save them all. I tried.

Now I could do with a distraction. I doubt theirs going to be much sleep tonight.

On the brighter side, I wonder if being stuck in some third rate version of Escape from LA is excuse enough for missing the first week of class.

So I was flying across the city today when I noticed this building with Wayne written across it, and I know for a fact it wasn't there yesterday. Weird, if it wasn't a place like this.

First up? Pie is a truly amazing thing and I can't believe I've been on Earth this long and never tried it before.

Secondly, what's the deal with this clown dude? He reminds me of Brother Cavil Number One. Same kind of sadistic glee. So, question- why don't we do what I found worked best with the Number One models and shoot him in the frakking head? because that was far too much fun

While going through a radar theory website (it's rather outdated, but still!), I was reminded that the Su-30MKI is just now really getting use. Aren't we supposed to be doing some sort of military exercise with the IAF soon? Or is that later.. Anyway! My point is that at this point in time, it's one of the most impressive fighters on the market (other than the F-22, of course). I used its canards-for-thrust-vectoring idea in one of my earlier projects. Granted, that was back when I was in college and I've come a long way since then, but it's still a brilliant aircraft.

Still-- I have a soft spot for SAM systems. I guess I'll always be a ground guy. There's something very satisfying about building something that you know conventional military means can't defeat, and that'll be used to protect human lives. Which was sort of what REX was meant to be; she was going to be used to intercept ballistic missiles.

At any rate, I think this originally had something to do with bombs..

Does anyone know precisely what sort of explosion it was that Joker used? I mean, he's been doing this a while, so I'm sure he has a system, but I was thinking that if they're triggered remotely, I might be able to design a device to monitor for emissions in the appropriate band and wavelength. It wouldn't be terribly precise, given what I have on hand to work with and the inadequate facilities, but I'm certain I could tweak it to greater detection given time.

I'm afraid it's the only thing I really know to do for the situation. I'm not terribly helpful, otherwise, having always been something of a reclusive nerd.


Also: alcoholics really can be quite trying. I have spectacular bruises on my neck and shoulders. I felt rather sorry for him after Mantis threw him through a wall, but really-- how rude. It isn't as if I did anything. I was just there.

I don't suppose anyone has a spare cellphone that doesn't work? I need one for the parts.

Well gosh if I don't just have two more reasons to hate - and we're talking higher than the level of hatred I have for Hugh Jackman, people, which I thought was pretty well impossible to surpass - this den of batshit crazy that passes itself off as Los Angeles.

I just wanted to clarify a couple of details. While there is one psychopath running around blowing things up, there is already another mentally unbalanced being from my galaxy here, Alema Ra.

There is no question, she has to be killed. She is dangerous and she is deadly and her death is the only acceptable solution.

She is a powerful Dark Jedi, with numerous powers. She regularly uses her Force powers, including those associated with the Dark Side such as the lightning, Force chokes, mind tricks, manipulation, among others. She is a skilled combatant, both as a Force user and as a Twi'lek, a species known for their flexibility and strength.

That said, despite her involvement on a threat on the life of my daughter, I claim no ownership over her death. If anyone else wants to, go for it. Just try to capture it on a holo so I can watch and be highly amused.
