He treats me as if I were once his dog instead of his child. He thinks I should be obedient and do whatever he commands me to do, because if I do what he says he will reward me with a treat, throw me a bone like I’m a puppy. He thinks he can do whatever he wants here. He thinks that nobody will be able to stop him, but he was stopped before. I think he’s insane.

I think he’ll find me. I know he wants it bad enough. I don’t want my mother to be there when he gets what he wants. I know he’d hurt her if he could. I don’t know what to do.

I don’t want to go to him. But then, maybe he'd stop if I did.

I don’t suppose that any of you would know a place where a girl such as myself could find shelter? Preferably somewhere lacking in perverted men who dare attempt to stick their filthy hands down by blouse? I am newly arrived and although I stumbled across somebody who has taken me in for the time being, I would rather not have to share shelter with him any longer than what is absolutely necessary.

These past few days have been very interesting to say the least. The simple idea of this place being a hotbed for supernatural powers is something that I find most fascinating! But, never mind that. There is only one power in this entire city that I seek. With this power I will use it for the good of those who could benefit from it.

I do believe I may soon acquire such a power.
