Nikolai Lantsov, King of Ravka has opened his house and yard for a get together! It's Saturday, and he and Sabrina are playing hosts to anyone and everyone who wishes to come for some food or lawn games- mostly as a chance for Nikolai to get to know some more people, but partially a chance to thank everyone who helped with the Sea God shenanigans. Clio, Nikolai's Golden Eagle familiar and Chaos, Sabrina's Hellhound can both be found running around- they're generally friendly, but both are still young and may not quite know what is too much for some guests.
There's grilling, yard games, and paper crowns for everyone to wear. Bring food if you'd like, drinks of all kinds are available, and Nikolai starts a bonfire late afternoon for s'mores and general cozy vibes.
OOC: This is forward dated for Saturday, April 6th. Everybody's welcome- Nikolai and Sabrina would have spread it by word of mouth around Pickman and with their friends.

THE LOBSTER PARADE
This year's parade somehow seems bigger than last year's.
Maybe it just seems that way because the Mistakes were involved in the behind the scenes this year and didn't just stumble into the middle of the road with floats heading toward you. Then street vendors are out in force, offering ice cream, hot dogs, and lobster rolls. Even the lobster mascot seems a little friendlier this year.
The town shuts down for the duration of its Lobstrosity Parade. Yes, even Craig "don't be lazy" Toomey lines the sidewalks with a hop in his step. Tourists have come from all around the Massachusetts area to take part. It seems downright homie, especially now that you've been living here for a year. Does the marching band waving flags with a lobstrosity on it comfort you or creep you out more than it did last year? The drum corp dressed as lobsters, wearing leftovers from last year (and the year before), bang away as they smile wide. The crowd cheers everyone on.
The Tommyknocker Theatre Troupe has dressed up as clowns from various time periods this year, and all of them have a red balloon. A&C Salvage have several cars, including a 1958 Plymouth Fury in autumn red, showing off their classic beauty. Alpha Pets is walking their therapy dogs who are just about the goodest boys you ever did see. Even Roxxcart is on the action this year, with people in anthropomorphic costume versions of their Kablooie candy and Nozz-A-Cola.
Tammy Smith, clad in lobstrosity red and lots of tulle, sits atop a float while four large pigs scarf the slop at her feet. She's working hard to keep that smile on her face, even as the overlarge pigs occasionally chew on the end of her dress.

Town Square has been turned into a glittery outdoor area for showing off young ladies in ball gowns and lobstrosity costumes. The back drop, at first, seems like it's raining stars. The closer you get, though, you'll notice those stars are shaped like little lobsters. Off to the side is a pen with farm animals for sale, particularly pigs. There's also booths for arts and crafts.
The one who wins the crown will go onto become the Lobster Queen for the next year.

What's up Doc?
Since Theo's appointment calendar has started to fill out nicely, I thought I'd start doing posts like this each month to give your characters the chance to work out some of their issues if they wish, as well as keep track of when appointments are or if your character needs to reschedule or miss an appointment or make a new one. Appointments last 1 hour unless noted otherwise.
Please note that I am not a licensed therapist like Theo, and that I may not be able to come up with responses and answers that may work for your chars. If there's is a very triggery subject, I am more than willing to handwave the sessions, we do not have to rp it out. As always, please note any triggers in the subject line of your comment.
If there is something specific you'd like Theo to recommend to your character, let me know here or on her drop box, where comments are screened.
I am also willing to use this post for any non-therapy things that your character wants to do with Theo while she's at Mist. This can include (but is not limited to) group therapy Wednesday nights, smoke breaks, walk-ins, drop-bys, and general socialization or flirting.
Again, I am not a licensed therapist and anything said by Theo should not be used as a substitution for real, actual therapy IRL.
PLEASE NOTE: Theo is a touch-sensitive empath. During therapy, she does not wear her gloves. If you'd like her to pick something up from your chars when shaking hands or something similar, please let me know under the permissions comment below.
