A woman gave me this phone and said it was mine.   I tried to return it.  She was very insistent that it was mine. 

Does it belong to anyone on this network?  I would be happy to return it to you, especially if in return, you could let me know where the nearest gateway to Krakoa is.  I'm Lost lost.

Well, I guess I'm getting to see what everyone was talking about. What a strange world this is. Right then, we had a handful of people with sleep issues unable to wake up and floating on ceilings, which is a reoccurring thing here? What were they dreaming of, now that they're awake, hm? Now, we have people sleepwalking. Different people than the ones who floated.

Not to alarm anyone but I am quite far from where I should be and it seems I have very badly drawn some sort of symbol with my own blood which I find extremely unacceptable. I'll send you a picture of the symbol while I walk back to Pickman.

As I understand it you are the owner of a business here in Dunwich, is that correct?

For as much as I dislike being stuck in one place so long, Dunwich has an endless amount of interesting places to explore.

Tell me, what's the most interesting places you've all seen in this town so far?

I've seen wonders in my life, but I never thought to see the future, such as it is. So much information in the palm of your hand.

How do you cope?

If they're selling those lobster hats at the festival this year I'll pay somebody to grab me one.

Also, anybody else interested to see if the entire place resets halfway through? That's when the first of us started popping up, after all.

If you've disappeared and come back to Pickman, or when you arrived at Pickman if a version of you was here before, can you please respond to this post? I'm trying to collect data and may have follow up questions.

For those of you who knew someone who disappeared: did their possessions disappear with them? All of it, or just what they brought with them from home? Again, just trying to get more data to find a pattern.

I moved back into the house. I searched high and low. No sign of the egg. But Margo's birthright lizard and axes are also gone, so I'm thinking it disappeared when I did and just didn't come back?

I am not going for a 'Nightmare Before Christmas' decor right now or I'd keep it. I really hate how this place just ignores wards. At least give me something I want, Dunwich. Like fuzzy slippers.

I'll be the first to admit the timing isn't perfect, but I thought I should introduce myself sooner rather than later. As I understand it there was another version of me here not too long ago, so we might need to compare notes - but I am Mobius, perhaps we can start over.

ARRIVAL

The thick, ghastly haze of the mist, once practically opaque to the naked eye, fades and opens up to a nostalgic homegrown New England town. A friendly gazebo, freshly painted white sits on a neatly mown lawn at the center of the town square. Vehicles stop at the redlight while locals cross the street, birds chirp in the trees, and a school bus stops to pick up a few children in oversized backpacks. Pedestrians walk by you without a second glance. Did they not see you suddenly appearing out of nowhere? How could they not have noticed that all encompassing fog? And why doesn’t your obviously otherworldly attire catch their attention? This appears to be a small, close knit community. And it’s clear you’re not from around these parts.

But these are simply the first of many mysteries you’re about to discover.

The further you investigate your new surroundings, the more ominous this seemingly quaint and colloquial town becomes. There’s something dark beneath its pleasant guise. You can’t shake the chill at the back of your neck and the sense that someone—or something—is watching you. Then there’s the odd graffiti on the alleyway walls and the way the locals talk about certain locations. And while the mist is gone, there are places in town that make you reminisce about the mist. Places that feel supernaturally thin. Thin enough to let in whispers from the other side. Or maybe even screams.

And don’t worry if you hear laughter or the jingling chimes of carnival coming from the rain gutters in the street. That’s just your imagination. There’s nothing down there.

Nothing that floats.
