Dunwich: A Creepypasta Panfandom Game

I've got a lot of things to talk about, all of it MIST related. Don't worry, I'll get to the Bad Moon Festival, but I want to get this out of the way.

We need a group of emergency responders in various fields. Search and Rescue, Fighting, Magic, Medical/Healing. Search and Rescue and Fighting will be training with two new MIST recruits — Peggy Carter or Carol Danvers. They'll be swapping back and forth for a wider variety of training in those positions. There is a sign-up sheet at MIST.

Secondly, we have come up with an arrival protocol that will help everyone who arrives. For everyone, we'll have a care package with basic necessities. They'll be picked up when you get your Key and room at Pickman. We'll have a group of volunteer guides for those who are 20 and younger to help them out. After discovering that one of our own had no food in her apartment, we don't want this to happen again. The guide's job is to make sure the person is settling in, to get them acclimated to Dunwich. If a new arrival is over 20, there is an opt-in program for those who come from other planets, worlds, and time periods who may need help learning this world or upgraded technology. Thirdly, in the interest of fostering community, MIST will be hosting bi-weekly meals on Tuesdays from 6-8pm. Sometimes, these may be a potluck. Sometimes, they may be food catered in by MIST. They might be as simple as a pizza party or something more extravagant.

One final MIST update, those of you are twenty and younger will be allotted a livable wage through MIST, whether you're working or not. This amount is based on whether you are working or not and the difference will make it a livable wage. Every other Friday, you will need to meet with your guide to receive your stipend check.

And finally, I'll be making my way to the Todash Tavern this week to find out what's going on with this Bad Moon Festival. Because our emergency responders are not in place yet, I highly recommend that only those with fighting and magical skills attend the Todash or the festival. That's a lot of us, and frankly, I'm not willing to leave the towns people to the whims of some maniacal church.

Did you know you can swap species with this thing too? I'm a vampire, Matthew's a witch with my powers, Corra is..I don't know where, and we haven't figured out how to fix this. Just, you know. A heads up that I haven't disappeared and I'm still here, just. Trying to be careful.

So I think there's a chance this might be my fault.

I am so sorry for anyone affected. The other day, I may have accidentally switched abilities with someone else. So I technically have a kind of magic back, but not what I'm used to. We were attempting to switch back and I might have just made things worse.

I don't think this is the potion swap Eliot mentioned yesterday. For one, not everyone is body swapped, some of it is powers, or maybe species? The fact that this is so random and only seems to be effecting us? I can't say for certain but it tracks.

I promise if this was me, I'll figure it out. I am working on it.

Hey, do we have any sorta program for the teenagers here? Like. Guardianships and extra help for them?

One of ours got signed up for school and didn't know about it until this weekend before she started yesterday and she didn't know what to expect or what was needed. I got her sorted out with supplies and clothes, and set up a grocery delivery to her apartment, but what about the others? Not everyone's grown up fending for themselves and knows how to do all that kinda stuff.

And will the schools ask for guardian numbers or something? I told her she could put down mine, but let her put whoever she felt comfortable with.

Hey everyone, I'm working on a Saturday morning training session for people are short. Like 5'4" and under. It'll consist of a mixture of Krav Maga, Tae-Kwon Do, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. All mixed up with how to use your environment and the other person(s) to your advantage. All of this is really helpful against attackers who are larger than you — using their height, weight, and leveraging them for your benefit.

I'm going to start with Saturdays at 9am-10am. If there's more interest, I might add more days.

I'm working on getting MIST as filled out as possible. The schedule is a little bare. We'll also host movie nights if you're interested. We do have a projector.

I would also welcome you to our private network if you're working on something for the benefit of the group. Darcy Lewis and Kate Pryde worked hard on securing the network and the server. You'll be able to store any data you've accumulated without worry from outsiders.

Okay, wow! Now I know what people mean when they're just randomly handed a job. I got a call from a elderly woman asking if I could possibly start my shift and training today.

It's the Sweet Confectionary & Ice Cream Parlor, so at least it's something I know how to do, which honestly is a big relief.

That's where I've been the past couple of hours, I'm on lunch now so I didn't want anyone to worry. This place, it's nothing like the one my parents ran back home. There's candy, I've never even seen before! And ice cream is just...here, readily available for anyone to buy. I even get a discount! I couldn't even have the stuff we were selling, minus the few times Dad snuck us a few pieces.

This town is so strange.
