Something is going on, I've never fainted in my life and just this week

So I was looking through my music collection, and there are a lot of songs in here that have been life changing. I'm 1200 years old, my collection stretches back pretty far, even songs my people sang on long voyages are now being recorded. There seems to be a song from every era that just melts my soul.

Like for instance "At Last" by Etta James. If she had been into women I would have worshiped at her feet, she would have replaced every one of my gods.

I can close my eyes and remember right where I was when I first heard these earth ending songs. Some have even stopped me in my tracks when I was running to hide from the sun.

I need to get my mind off of some things, so what's your soul melting song, or songs if there's more than one?

I can't recall who asked, but there's another new statue in town near work. It's- it's Jimmy. Except he's not in his cat form, he's a stone version of his human self. Or rather, the statue is. It isn't Jimmy. At least- I don't think so? It looks so realistic. He's been on vacation, so I haven't thought anything about where he's been or why he hasn't been at the shop. But I can't get a hold of him on his phone, either, and I just don't know- I can't tell what's going on.

So I did a thing I think I probably should have discussed with you first. I hired another bouncer.

His name is Castiel and he seems very nice. He's also an angel. I figure it'd be good for Spike to have some backup. And also be able to take nights off without worrying about brawls breaking out in his absence.

I've gone from mildly concerned to annoyed and right back into concerned about our tenant. He hasn't sent word since he left, no indication of what to do with his things, won't pick up the phone... I think maybe it's time we filed a missing persons report?

Xavier is floating in his room.

There's no way it's Vecna. We stopped that bastard. Xavier was complaining about headaches but this has to be something else right? It fucking can't be Vecna again.

Must say I was not anticipating a brawl to erupt the same night we ran out of lobster at Todash. I guess some people are very serious indeed about their seafood...

Jokes aside, I heard some of our own were involved? I do hope everyone is alright... and won't be doing that again. Bev and I may have to ban you from the premises if you can't behave.

ETA: In fact and I hope she'll back me on this the first rule of the new and improved Todash Tavern is No Fighting.

Apart from all the lobster things, the quiet this month has been a welcome relief. Although Owen's lobster burgers are incredible.

I've seen wonders in my life, but I never thought to see the future, such as it is. So much information in the palm of your hand.

How do you cope?

Todash friends and country people, according to our delivery man, the lobster tanks we received are just the tip of the iceberg. Our beloved owner remains unreachable, of course, so I've no way to stop the tonne of seafood coming our way.

Time for a seasonal, lobster-ified menu!

My apologies to those who don't care for seafood. I can do my best to disguise it, but I make no promises of success. And to those who fancy a change? Well, you're in luck. Lobster burgers (and lobster kebabs, and lobster and mash, and lobster and chips) are here for a (hopefully) limited time.

I recently came into some money that I think might improve my odds for making another bid for the tavern. But my chances of persuading the bank might be better with a business partner.
