For Thursday, the 23rd, I'm going to do something a little different for Finer Things Club.   A cheese pairing night.   Because of RoxxCart's

I'm going to ask everyone that comes to bring something they'd like to see paired with the right cheese, such as wine, chocolate, nuts, fresh fruit, dried fruit, salami, prosciutto, coppa, pepperoni, jamón ibèrico, chorizo, baguettes, honey, truffles, crackers.  Whatever you like, and I can suggest what cheese would go best with it. It doesn't have to be fancy.  If we end up sharing recipes for grilled cheese and mac and cheese, that's okay too. 

I would like to be a bit party-like - if anyone wants to help me organize it, that would be appreciated.

Regular finer things club is still happening too.  Every Thursday.  It's a club for trying new foods and things that some of us didn't have the chance to try back home.  Everyone's welcome, even if things aren't new to you.

Well, I've been here for about a month, and while everyone's been really great in helping me settle in, I've been a little stuck for what I want to do while I'm here.

I know I should probably get a job, but aside from running the Hazbin Hotel back home, it's not like I have a lot of experience. I didn't exactly need a job, after all.

So, after looking things over, I enrolled to take classes at Derleth College! I don't exactly what I'm going to do for a degree, but I figured I could at least take some classes and see what works.

I had to stop by the shelter earlier today. Normally, I try not to go during my day off, since the animals get rather excited to see me, though I had a purpose for my visit. Especially since there has been one of the residents here who I've felt drawn to ever since they arrived.

That and after a bit of an internal debate with myself, I decided to go ahead and adopt them. So, with that in mind, I'd like for everyone to meet Roxie.

Starting Wednesday of next week, Sixth Street Cafe will be closed. I've finally purchased it outright and it will be undergoing some basic renovations, along with a name change.

More details to come.

With this post, I'd like to officially announce the promotion to Manager for Xavier Thorpe, one of my longest time employees. He's been fantastic as a barista and helping me to adjust to a more modern setting.

We will be looking to hire a few people. Xavier may reach out to organize that soon.

If you do want some of our food or drinks while we are closed, please reach out to me. I always plan ahead and can easily arrange for meals to be delivered.

So, I had planned on learning on knitting to make a blanket for Alison, but since she's now gone, I have no reason to do that. Yet, I still want to learn to knit and I was curious if anyone was willing to teach me or at least give me some pointers? It'd be so very much appreciated, regardless.

Also, I've been doing some spring cleaning around the place and I found that old knife that I received when the town decided to give us gifts. I know I tried to dispose of it once or twice, but it kept coming back to me.

I shall be returning this weekend to the airwaves, back from my little sabbatical. I do apologize for the absence from The Air, I simply couldn't bear to leave my room.

I think to ease back into it, I'll be regaling you all with more tales from the Sword Coast, as I remember them. And I'll fill in what I don't remember, not to worry.

It seems every month, more friends leave this place rather than arrive.

During the time I've been here in town, I've been on the look out for a job. Unfortunately, I hadn't landed a position until this morning.

Because as of today I get to be the receptionist for Mind and Motion, which is rather nice since I'm a frequent patron there, anyways.

Good news everyone, I can see again. Wait.

It's back to a local for office assistant for me, I'm starting to think the position might be cursed. Anyone interested?

I wanted to text Sabrina and tell her my quest for my blue cookie monster coat has finally come to an end, and then I remembered she's no longer here.

Then I tried to take selfies and remembered that I'm a 75 year old vampire who only recently caught on to the fact that whatever makes Dunwich work, also grants me the ability to take selfies, and I've had no practice, I don't know my angles and I don't know how anyone manages to capture themselves in frame.

Then I just got confused by the concept of filters.

My brain's just not braining right today. You know how it is when you're gassy and it just won't release? My brain's going through that.

So just imagine a blue coat. Black skinny jeans. Fishnet tank. And Doc Martens. I think I look okay, but it's hard to say.

I'm really going to miss Bucky. He was one of my good friends here.

D&D, starting Saturday with session zero. I'll just show you how to build a character and we'll go over what kinds of adventures we want to have.

I'll let you know where. Bucky was going to let us use their club. I'll find a different place, though.

I was thinking we could do one shots, since I know having a long story arc is kind of hard with Dunwich ... being Dunwich. You could keep and level up your characters, they'd just go on shorter and self-contained adventures.
