In an attempt to not detract from other network posts about self defense (and if you haven't signed up with Commander Smith, please consider doing so, I will continue my crusade of asking far too many questions for my own good.

How many of you have siblings here?
How many of us have powers?
How many of you have saved the world?
Has anyone seen my dog?

Also, I'm looking to trade my spare kitchen chair for a pillow (but not one that has had feet on it). -- PILLOW SITUATION RESOLVED.

Thank you!

Been here two days, and I already got myself a project. I got a couple of questions about the Ghost Line, and I don't have any of my equipment.

What kind of technical readouts has anyone gotten from the Ghost Line? I know folks have gone into it and their soul becomes detached from their bodies until you're back inside the Dunwich line. I know teleporters have tried to leave that way and have gotten trapped in another dimension for however long, but has anyone tried to magically summon or use telekinesis for anything from outside of the Ghost Line? Something from this world? Something outside of this world?

A spectrometer would be real handy right about now.

By my count we've lost a dozen in the last week. To the fog, at least, not to anything potentially more permanent. The network errors seem to be fairly close in time to the actual disappearance, though. Do we have enough equipment to build sensors that could show us the exact environmental conditions in place when it happens?

Hello there. I'm Jesse Tuck, one of the newest additions to the Park Ranger team.

So um, Spring is officially just a day away, which means that so exciting things will be taking place.

If you enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching, or maybe even just taking a leisurely stroll through the great outdoors....well you should consider swinging by Sidewinder State Park.

We've got a few new walking trails opening up that are waiting for you. Oh! And for you bird lovers out there; we've even had confirmed sightings of not just one rare bird, but three different types! Including a greater white-fronted goose, a trumpeter swan, and even an elusive blue winged Teal too.

So grab your binoculars or cameras, and head out this way if you're looking for an adventure.

Ten days.

That's how long I've been here.

And still no one's tried to kill me.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I mean, I know it's a good thing. It's just. Unexpected.

Okay. 2023. That's two years, four and a half months. Super doable. Just have to do... a little bit of math. And figure out how this even happened when I didn't go quantum.

So local retail aside, I don't suppose anyone has a super computer tucked away.

Sup, everyone. Senku here!

It looks like there's a lot of us from a lot of different places. Anyway, hit me up if you need tech help. I'm a nerd and not afraid to show it.

Damn, it feels good to post online again. I mean, the way I was doing things before worked well, but this is amazing. Never thought I'd get the chance again.

Sup?

Guess I get to be the new guy around here, but hey, technology for the win! Glad to have modern tech and things again. Senku Ishigami here.

So, are we going with multiverse theory to explain what I've been reading so far? What's the working conspiracy theory?

WELCOME
Your new life starts here.

ARRIVAL

The thick, ghastly haze of the mist, once practically opaque to the naked eye, fades and opens up to a nostalgic homegrown New England town. A friendly gazebo, freshly painted white sits on a neatly mown lawn at the center of the town square. Vehicles stop at the redlight while locals cross the street, birds chirp in the trees, and a school bus stops to pick up a few children in oversized backpacks. Pedestrians walk by you without a second glance. Did they not see you suddenly appearing out of nowhere? How could they not have noticed that all encompassing fog? And why doesn’t your obviously otherworldly attire catch their attention? This appears to be a small, close knit community. And it’s clear you’re not from around these parts.

But these are simply the first of many mysteries you’re about to discover.

The further you investigate your new surroundings, the more ominous this seemingly quaint and colloquial town becomes. There’s something dark beneath its pleasant guise. You can’t shake the chill at the back of your neck and the sense that someone—or something—is watching you. Then there’s the odd graffiti on the alleyway walls and the way the locals talk about certain locations. And while the mist is gone, there are places in town that make you reminisce about the mist. Places that feel supernaturally thin. Thin enough to let in whispers from the other side. Or maybe even screams.

And don’t worry if you hear laughter or the jingling chimes of carnival coming from the rain gutters in the street. That’s just your imagination. There’s nothing down there.

Nothing that floats.
