So... See I have avoided home as long as I felt comfortable with, I was gifted with an egg. A rather large one. I don't have any experience with eggs, and the only ones I've ever seen before are bird eggs and a dragon egg. This one doesn't look like either.

Alright. I think I'm figuring out this network thing.

Hello, fellow Dunwich-ers. I've been here a couple of days so some of you might have seen me around, but I'm Nikolai. And I'm not used to this kind of technology yet, so bear with me if I make mistakes or have a million questions.

If there's one thing I should know about Dunwich, what would you share?

Not counting the year I was dead, this is going to be my first Yule not celebrated with my family.

It's changed a lot since I was a kid (everyone can drink now) but I'm going to miss Grýla and her boys stopping by and causing all kinds of trouble. Though I doubt Salem will miss being harassed by their cat. Still going to light the yule log and try to keep it going all twelve days to keep the Wild Hunt at bay. Even if this place probably doesn't have that. I will not be cooking. No one wants to die by accidental food poisoning.

I know Kurt already posted about Krampusnacht but what are some other holidays/events this month that people might not know about?

This place is depressing even with the sun back. I want to go home.

I'll be the first to admit the timing isn't perfect, but I thought I should introduce myself sooner rather than later. As I understand it there was another version of me here not too long ago, so we might need to compare notes - but I am Mobius, perhaps we can start over.

So I guess with Howard gone I don't have a job anymore? I don't know how that really works. I just know this really sucks, and I was actually learning cool stuff.

Can I get someone to look at the university library for anything written by Z. Allen. He was a local. This book is from 1901 and he's written a handful of others.

I'm going to head back to the Historical Society and see if we've got anything there.
