Starting Wednesday of next week, Sixth Street Cafe will be closed. I've finally purchased it outright and it will be undergoing some basic renovations, along with a name change.

With this post, I'd like to officially announce the promotion to Manager for Xavier Thorpe, one of my longest time employees. He's been fantastic as a barista and helping me to adjust to a more modern setting.

We will be looking to hire a few people. Xavier may reach out to organize that soon.

How are you all doing? Has anyone lost a guide with the recent losses? (I am keeping track, but this is a chance to say something if you would like to.)

So, I had planned on learning on knitting to make a blanket for Alison, but since she's now gone, I have no reason to do that. Yet, I still want to learn to knit and I was curious if anyone was willing to teach me or at least give me some pointers? It'd be so very much appreciated, regardless.

Also, I've been doing some spring cleaning around the place and I found that old knife that I received when the town decided to give us gifts. I know I tried to dispose of it once or twice, but it kept coming back to me.

Message to all aerial shifters - I have crafted and posted roosts around Pickman and in the outskirts of the woods for any of you that wish to utilize them whether it's for security or resting purposes.

I wanted to text Sabrina and tell her my quest for my blue cookie monster coat has finally come to an end, and then I remembered she's no longer here.

Then I tried to take selfies and remembered that I'm a 75 year old vampire who only recently caught on to the fact that whatever makes Dunwich work, also grants me the ability to take selfies, and I've had no practice, I don't know my angles and I don't know how anyone manages to capture themselves in frame.

Then I just got confused by the concept of filters.

My brain's just not braining right today. You know how it is when you're gassy and it just won't release? My brain's going through that.

So just imagine a blue coat. Black skinny jeans. Fishnet tank. And Doc Martens. I think I look okay, but it's hard to say.

I can't recall who asked, but there's another new statue in town near work. It's- it's Jimmy. Except he's not in his cat form, he's a stone version of his human self. Or rather, the statue is. It isn't Jimmy. At least- I don't think so? It looks so realistic. He's been on vacation, so I haven't thought anything about where he's been or why he hasn't been at the shop. But I can't get a hold of him on his phone, either, and I just don't know- I can't tell what's going on.

Let's play Dunwich Would You Rather.   It's a simple game of making a choice between two options. The options are hard to choose between, and also fun, nothing too personal. I ask a question, you answer it, then you can ask a question. Anyone can play.

Here's the question:
Would you rather wear a lobster costume on really, really high stilts or wear a lobster costume with really, really long lobster legs strapped to your back?  I actually saw both on locals, one in the parade and one on a pageant contestant.

Today is the grand reopening of The Colorful Canvas, since I've taken ownership of it. There are various promotions, specials and discounts throughout the whole store. We have art supplies, crafting supplies, a plethora of yarns, fabrics for quilting, and even stationary kits.

Plus today, we have little finger sandwiches, a platter of veg, biscuits, other snacks and an assortment of drinks for those who wish to stop by as well as one stressed out owner.

Several months ago I had a spirit or a monster in the mirror following me until I destroyed a mirror. Now I have a doll that won't stop following me around.

Did anyone else get a doll in their Christmas gifts? Because that's what this one is, and I don't know why it keeps showing up when I keep putting it away or trying to throw it out. I don't know if it's a ghost or a curse or something else, but I really, really don't like it.

This fog is thick enough that I'm closing Time & Again until further notice. Please, please be safe if you have to leave your house- I could hardly see my hand before my face when I stepped outside this morning!

And, um. Does anyone have any experience with haunted dolls? Please be careful out there, friends.

So, I was in the midst of running some errands this morning and I ran across this big orange tabby cat that looked like it's fur was matted and caked in mud and...possibly, blood? I mean, it surprised me since it was on it's hind legs. That and the fact that it just walked right by me, Though also, it seemed as if it was looking for the nearby Italian restaurant, yet I can't helping thinking that it kind of like that one cat that likes lasagna, who's name eludes me.

But then again, this makes two sightings of creatures through the fog in less than forty-eight hours. Which kind of feels like a cause for concern.

Attention all booklovers! Pagemaster is suffering a sentient fuzzball invasion and will be closed until further notice. Or until Clint Barton figures something out.

If you put in any orders, don't hold your breath. These things eat books now.

So, okay, maybe I shouldn't have get the really wet egg that I got for Christmas. But it wasn't moving, and I couldn't hear anything inside it, so I didn't think destroying it was a big priority, right?

I got one of those pairs of the weird…furbies or whatever they’re called. I mean, they aren’t my taste, but I’ll take it over the gift I got on the first day. I left that knife at the police station and it ended up back in my possession for reasons I don’t know why. It’s disturbing.

Scale of one to ten: is it normal to get a random phone call in the middle of the day asking if you'll be starting your new job as an English teacher for Dunwich High School on Wednesday as planned. Don't remember filling out an application or interviewing.

How many students do we have going to the High School?

My first college semester has gone well so far. I've learned a lot. I'm enjoying it, surprisingly. I never thought it was for me before here.

To anyone who's interested, I would still like to run soccer club. Maybe Roy will come back one day. If nothing else, we can keep the club going. Please let me know if you're still interested in participating.
