Sixth Street is closed for renovations; however, I'm now in need of a manager to assist me with the re-opening. Preferably a frequent customer before, but I'm open. If you know about boba, that would be most welcome. Xavier was planning on introducing me to the drink. I'm not familiar enough with it to make it yet myself.

We will be opening again Monday under my ownership. Details yet to come.

I believe you are the one to ask. I'd like to be the guide for a younger person who's here. Do I need training or some sort of registration for this? I'm not signed up to be a guide, I... well, honestly, I never thought anyone would need my guidance.

Starting Wednesday of next week, Sixth Street Cafe will be closed. I've finally purchased it outright and it will be undergoing some basic renovations, along with a name change.

With this post, I'd like to officially announce the promotion to Manager for Xavier Thorpe, one of my longest time employees. He's been fantastic as a barista and helping me to adjust to a more modern setting.

We will be looking to hire a few people. Xavier may reach out to organize that soon.

If you do want some of our food or drinks while we are closed, please reach out to me. I always plan ahead and can easily arrange for meals to be delivered.

Malachi's idea of a gathering isn't a bad idea. I'd be happy to host it at Mist, funding it as well. Anyone willing to organize it?

Benedict stopped replying to me earlier and he never came up to meet me at lunch. I've checked the art store and he isn't there.

Could- would anybody be willing to come out and look for him with me?

I've been informed (in passing) that it is a day for pie. While I'm not sure why there's a specific day for specific pastries, I do have a friend who is very fond of pie.

So where is the best place to purchase some?

MIST:

There's apparently a barrier in the ocean now. Not like the Ghost Line, but an actual barrier that keeps you from going toward the Ghost Line.

If this is the sea god coming to claim his prize (his prize being a living, breathing human being), then he's trying to box us in. I'm going under the assumption that Sabrina is his ultimate design, so he's going to show up at some point. If he's a sea god, we can expect water beings. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what that looks like here.

We need to scout the Ghost Line immediately. I'm calling the emergency staff in for this. We need everyone except Healers/Doctors. Whoever this is is not honing in on one person this time, they've gotten another roughly ten of us. That's way more than last time. I'm not waiting for him to try and pick others off.

ALL MIST EMERGENCY RESPONDERS:

I need volunteers to scout along the Ghost Line — minus the ocean part — for any other barriers. We need to know what our strategy should be. I'll be your point of contact for any information.

Hello. My name is Erwin. I wanted to extend a greeting as I hear you had interest as well in guiding the youths of Dunwich.

A few MIST updates.

I'm looking for a few positions. Some, I will be reaching out to people I feel have qualifications that I need. Some I will be asking for volunteers.

For example, Katniss Everdeen was in charge of our youth oriented programs. This included following up with the 20s and under group to get them guides whether they felt they needed them or not, the youth stipend program, and after school events. If you're interested in this position, I can either do two Co-Heads if you want part time, or I can do one Head, if you want full time.

If you're interested in hosting a party, I would like to suggest MIST as your location. I know it's not as grande as Carbunkle House, but I believe that since there is an immediately door to Pickman that can be locked with a few phrases, it's one of our safer places to have parties. Please see me for any parties or dinners that you'd like to host.

Dr. Theo Crain has taken over as the Mistakes Support Group that Jake Pentecost handled until his disappearance. For a fuller look at our current schedule, you can check that out here. If you're interested in creating a group, see me, and we'll figure a way to work it out.

Has anyone heard anything about a Valentine's Day party? Is anyone interested? If so, I'd be more than happy to host one. My house is large enough to accommodate, but I can see if there's space somewhere at MIST, if that is preferable.

Upon superficial perusal of the network, I am overjoyed at being proven right once again!—That humanity is, at its core, a trite, unsurprising, and mundane species with very little capacity for nuance and innovation. Why, look at how you've all sequestered yourselves in the humdrum of monotonous living, foolishly trying to feed your starving souls by chewing on stodgy remnants of bromidic interactions and abstruse small talk. How tedious! How commonplace! How drab!

Next week, let's try something different. I'm newer to many of the holidays that you all celebrate, though I understand in ten days, there's a holiday meant for romance. So on Wednesday, February 14, come to Sixth Street Cafe.

Buy one, get one free with our specialty coffees from noon until 9 pm.

There will be chess games set up, board games that I've been collecting and decks of cards. Let's have a game day where you can come and mingle with anyone new. Open to everyone! No pressure that way if you are single and interested. I'm open to ideas for those more familiar with a better way to run something like this, but I thought this would be a great way to encourage us meet new people here.

I take it most of us are spending more time inside with all the unusual creatures in the fog.

I have an idea to keep some of us busy. For those who participated in secret Santa, guess who gave you your gift. You can guess more than one name, it's for fun. Then the person who got your name can let you know if you guessed right.

For example, I'd guess Layla since my gift was a lovely embroidered scarf and she mentioned that she enjoys embroidery. And then Layla could reply and confirm it was her. In my case, I already knew since I drew the names, but it could be fun for the rest of you. And I'm curious to see who gets it right.

We've had enough sightings and kidnappings going around that I'm formally activating the MIST Emergency Protocols. I know we still have to work, and still want to go out, so I'm asking those in Search and Rescue, Fighting, and Magic divisions to offer themselves here on this post if people need someone to go with them to school, work, the bar, your shopping. I realize it's not as glamorous as full on fighting these things, but you never know when something is going to come back.

If you run into anything out there, please give us as detailed of a description — visuals, smells, sounds, anything — as you can give. Locations. If you managed to injure it. If you managed to kill it, bring it back to MIST would be ideal so we can study it.
