Dunwich: A Creepypasta Panfandom Game

I have been trying to adjust my schedule from essentially working nights and sleeping through the day to now sleeping at night and being up through the day and it is a very, very slow process. Even the largest and strongest of coffees are not doing much to help.

Can anyone recommend me any books to help pass my time?

How do you decide what sort of job you would even qualify for when you have little education, few practical skills, and aren't familiar with this time? I'm not sure that I even would have the qualifications to be a student here, if that were even something I wished to pursue, which I'm not even sure I want yet.

I don't know what I want. Everything is still so very overwhelming.

I have a confession to make. I haven't been completely honest with everybody. Oh, I've told a handful of people in private, and I'm sure some of you might've already guessed, but I'm not who you might think. For most of my existence, I've been pretending to be something else out of fear and pressure, but coming to Dunwich has shown me that I don't have to hide who I am.

I am an angel. Literally. From Heaven, although that bit is a little complicated right now. I've had a bit of a falling out with Heaven, a disagreement caused in part by stopping Armageddon from taking place, and in part by being close friends with a demon. So, I'm not exactly welcome there anymore, but I'm most definitely not Fallen. I still have my angelic perks, so to speak.

I feel so much better now.

I know that it's been said ad nauseam how eventful the weekend was. So, I figure that I just need to try to move on from it all and try to mingle with in Dunwich.

Still, it's making me think that I need to actually start thinking of long-term plans, if I'm stuck here indefinitely. So, I should probably try to look for a place that is in need of employment or something of the sort.

So uuuhhh, does anyone know anything about old 80’s tech? ..maybe something a little earlier than eighties? ..what I mean to say is, can anyone tell me what this is? Kinda looks like a VHS, but it isn't? Someone just left it behind at a table at the coffee shop and now I gotta know what’s on it! How do I watch it??

My new boss is pretty cool, I guess. I can eat pizza at my desk, as long as I remember to get him a slice.

Also, your cats are weird. Their heads are so small. Seems like a bunch of them just hang out around the salvage yard. Found one sleeping on an old Ford pickup truck on my way in this morning. Started rubbing his head on my hand.

Do I want a cat? I don't know. Maybe I do.

Do we have a support group for people who have lost their friends?

I just told my boss to get fucked, so it looks like I am free for the foreseeable future. Gotta admit, that felt REALLY, really good.

I should just get jobs, just to quit them.

I've been waking up each morning at sunrise to meditate, which is somewhat ironic because Obi-Wan is the one who taught me how to meditate and I gave him endless grief about not being any good at it. And he's gone now, and I'm apparently able to meditate freely.

For those of you who have had someone here who you are close to who has since left, how have you coped?

It was quite the experience to be in a younger body again, but I have to admit, I'm much more comfortable in my own body. I've learned how to use it all these years, after all.

The done thing is probably to introduce myself properly, isn't it? I'm Julien Alemarque, Earl of Rivenfell, though the title is something of a historical artifact. I arrived in town a couple of days ago and I've been reading what I can about the situation here. I'm afraid I don't have the necessary context for all of the information, but I'll be sure to try to catch up as I can.

My trade is as a jeweler and metalsmith but I'm also well-trained in combat and healing magic, though I'm not sure whether the most heavy-duty spells will be as effective in a world that doesn't seem to have the same gods as that's where I draw power from. I don't imagine horse-riding is terribly useful around here though and it seems everyone is competently literate.

I would be interested in wine recommendations if anyone has them, preferably light-bodied white wines, but reds have their place as well.

I’m sure you’ve all seen the network message, but I can confirm Luke is really gone. I didn’t it was it, but I felt him go. It wasn’t like It was very sudden. It feels strange not to have that sense of him anymore, even if he was from too far in the past to really know me.

This communication device is not one I'm familiar with, but it seems intuitive enough.

Finding out that there are other Force sensitives in this strange place is something of a hopefully nice.

Has anyone noticed any new beings beyond our new arrivals? Or felt like there are other entities around you but you can't hear or see them?

Force sensitives
I can feel other entities via the Force but not see or hear them. It's a bit unnerving. I'm not getting a malicious sense of them, but there are somethings out there that we can't see.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have previous experience with it?

The closest I can think of is spirits in Mortis or of Master Qui-Gon's Force ghost. Yet, those were all visible and I could hear them.

Be careful of whatever these new things are. Have you felt anything off in your classroom?

I'm not fully comfortable with this phone, yet. Then again, there's still plenty I need to learn about.

But hopefully it'll help for me to make some new friends.

Have you been outside at all today, Miss Heywood?

It appears as though I have also been tasked with employment. In another lifetime, had I not chosen the route of senator and everything that followed, I imagine I could have chosen teaching. I guess this is that other lifetime. I'll be teaching political science at Derleth University. I'll probably need to do quite a lot of reading up on the politics of this world, so if anyone would like to talk about their experience, I'd like to listen.
