Last Saturday was my birthday. I'm seventeen now when technically I should be thirty if this is 2010. Not that it matters because my own mother didn't even wish me a happy birthday. She is usually the only one who does, besides Pansy, and it seems that with all the moving to the new house and Scorpius being a brown nosing twat she forgot. I can't believe my own mother forgot my bloody birthday!

On top of that, according to her spell, Scorpius is my son. I still don't entirely believe it, but she does.

You know, I was thinking about the giant squid last night. I painted a squid above my bureau which is very similar but it doesn't look quite as sagely as the real one. He's a very prolific poet. He wrote me this haiku once.

Swim up to the sun,
Bring me my breakfast, pupils!
Toast toast toast crisps toast.

He wrote me a sonnet once, as well. I wish I could remember it.

Second request for Quidditch players, this is an open request for anyone, muggles included, someone is charged with figuring out the brooms for muggles to ride. We don't have enough players for even one team, so we need more players.

And would those that expressed interest previously respond again, so as to keep an accurate list.


ETA: We just need three more players, for positions of Beater, or Chaser. Just three more for two whole teams...

I just made about six dozen cookies. I don't know why I made so many cookies, I Just wanted to try a couple of recipes... and now the whole house smells like cookies. Sorry, guys. But at least they smell delicious. It's amazing how many cookbooks one can buy with limitless funds. I think I could eat a different meal for every meal of the rest of my life, and still have tons of meals left over. Julia Child is wonderful, and I love Jamie Oliver's books, too...

I'm not sure why I'm becoming such a homebody. Perhaps Ginny is rubbing off on me, and I'm nesting.

Alright, I can take an elaborate joke as well as anyone else, but whoever planted that portkey has the worst timing imaginable. Not only will you have to deal with me, but also with my formidable pregnant wife and her even more formidable mum. You have no idea what anger is until you've seen Molly Weasley on a rampage.

So let's get me home. If Ginny has that baby without me, it's going to get ugly and fast. I most likely won't be able or willing to save you.
