I think I need to get my own place. Something bigger, better. My own car, too. And I need to learn to drive. There wasn't much opportunity for a lot of 'normal' things on the island so now that I'm here I ought to indulge myself. Still, it's a little odd....now that I don't have a goal, a purpose, I feel a little.....aimless. Who said that one of the greatest tragedies in life is to never achieve your heart's desire, the other is to get it? Oscar?

Well, I'm not that melodramatic. But still, I need something to do. And someone to do it with. I'm accustomed to loneliness, but there's no excuse to not make friends anymore.

If I've traded one prison for another, then at least this prison has movie premieres and restaurants that don't cater exclusively into crispy boar. I'm also pretty damn happy that scavenged rags aren't a mandatory dress code.

Dr. Saunders was talking to me, and I could hear Topher saying he couldn't find the Dewey Pen I wanted. Then everything was black, and I couldn't hear anyone. It was cold, but not like absolute zero freezing, just uncomfortable. I couldn't get comfortable without my body, and I'm not sure how I could feel cold without a body. Is this what it's like for them in the chair

I woke up. It took a while to wake up, like I'd fallen asleep for the last time, but if that was so then how come I'm still me. I checked, and I'm still me.

What's going on?

I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I am supposed to be in DC. I should be in DC. This is not DC, so obviously I should not be here. This entire situation is senseless and wrong and somebody needs to explain right now.

I have a schedule, and this is interfering with that schedule. I really don't like when things interfere with my schedule! I have things that I need to do and it's going to be a mess without me. Can't you see how unsettling this is?
