I think I shall appropriate a small section of the land for my own use as a herb garden. I suddenly have the urge to nurture.
Then again, I seem to have acquired a somewhat sizeable family, as it were. Perhaps this is what makes the thought of a place of my own that I can mold and shape to my own design more attractive.
In all seriousness, however, I have to say that I am almost enjoying our current arrangement. And the "almost" is only there because none of us are here voluntarily - and because Sarek is not here at all. Still, I am meditating as he instructed me, which is the real reason why a small patch of earth is sounding appealing to me. The Enterprise crew are a delight, and they remind me that I'm perhaps not quite in my dotage just yet.
I must see whether Spock would approve of me adopting a more contemporary Earth look. Not that I need my son's permission, but I would not wish to embarrass him or cause him to have any misgivings or concerns about me.
Now, what shall I put in my "garden"? Fragrance rather than color, I think...
