When Mobius reached out to Alison about a job, she hadn't entirely known what to expect. She was happy to offer work to any MISTake that needed it, or barter services for clothing, but this seemed like something else. She couldn't even ask Jimmy for his thoughts, as he'd decided to go on a little vacation and hadn't been around for a bit. But at least that doll hadn't returned. After it had attacked in the shop, she'd enlisted help and it had been burned and then sent down some portal that seemed to work. She hadn't noticed any new hauntings, and her reflection seemed to be back.
The shop was quiet for now- there had been a bit of a rush the day before and this morning, as several people had stopped by looking for clothes for the new club's opening. Alison hadn't decided if she was going to attend, but she thought she'd stop by at some point, especially if they offered ballroom dancing or even hosted a ball. Benedict might wish to go, though, and if he went, she'd likely join him. Still, that was something to think about later.
Mobius was in the shop somewhere, and Alison fell quiet as she listened for him. She could hear the familiar footsteps of a few of her regular employees upstairs and near the front, but she wasn't certain she could hear Mobius. She hoped he was alright. It wasn't a Tuesday, and the wards over the staircase seemed fine, but she knew that the ever changing racks in the shop could still get confusing, especially if one wasn't familiar. And it was nearing time for a break, so she thought she'd start some tea. Alison got the water on, then made her way down the first row of racks. "Mobius?"
