I know that it's been said ad nauseam how eventful the weekend was. So, I figure that I just need to try to move on from it all and try to mingle with in Dunwich.

Still, it's making me think that I need to actually start thinking of long-term plans, if I'm stuck here indefinitely. So, I should probably try to look for a place that is in need of employment or something of the sort.

I'm not even sure. I mean I was a curator and I did just open an apothecary back home.

That and as much as I love fashion, I think designing clothes is just gonna be a hobby for the time being.

In Dunwich, you don't always need to look. Expressing the desire may be enough. It's an odd sort of place.

True, I just don't know the best fit is since I really haven't worked that much.

It is nice. I mean, I've been fortunate to befriend some people. It's like a second home.

Any hobbies? That's how I built a career.

I'm not sure I'd go so far as 'second home.' I've already had one of those, and a third. But there is a certain charm, isn't there? And we could all use more friends.

Well, I do dabble in designing clothes, but I don't know if I could make it as a job. I did open an apothecary back home and was a curator.

We could. My home...well, back home, was actually my second home after having to move. But that place feels more like home than the place I grew up at.

Yeah, I mean, I miss my family and others back home. But thankfully my sister is here and I've gotten to mingle with everyone. It helps me to force myself out of my social circle, as much as it pains me

Yeah, just the one sister, Alexis. She's younger than me. We weren't the closest growing up, but I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

A brother, Anthony, much younger than I am. Like you and your sister, we weren't close as children, but now, we get on famously. I miss him.

Same, but who knows how long we'll be stuck here and if I can find work, it's a step closer to getting out of Pickman.

That and I would love to try to expand my wardrobe a bit more. It's so small here.

I'm getting up to it rather soon, too. It's a small eternity and if we can find a place, I'd even take the murder bed.

I'm sure if Dunwich needed someone to plan events or anything of the sort, like Speed Friending/Dating or a Singles Weekend, they'd have your number. Just nothing too spooky, please.

I don't think they have much need for an event planner here. Maybe I can still outsource and be some like mysterious shut in social media influencer or something.

Ooh, maybe. I mean, the fashion bit was something I toyed with, but I miss the apothecary. That and well, a nice side hobby is always nice.

Thank goodness, this town is spooky enough. I would suggest a beach party, but who knows if the lobster friends would want to crash the party. And no thanks.

I think the lobsters are mostly at the lake, so the beach might be safe.

I'm with the woman up there and not really having to look. I was just sort of wandering down the street thinking I should do something to make money and bam, suddenly some guy was offering me a job. It was weird.

Pharmacy/general store was what I had opened. I did work as a curator, but I kind of had no passion to find work or a job, till I mentioned the above. But maybe there is, I haven't really had the chance to explore the inner workings of Dunwich.

What kind of stuff did you sell?

It's an interesting place. Mostly I know the good food because I've been eating my feelings. Other than that I could tell you where the pool and best spots on the beach are.

Lotions, shampoos, body milks, scarfs, coffee, tea, toilet plungers, produce and other various necessities. We also had a place where people could come and get coffee or drinks, but it's not a coffee shop, It had only been opened for a few weeks before I ended up here, almost a month ago.

I need to look for some good food. But the beach spot seems ideal, I just have been slightly avoidant given all those crazy mutant lobsters.

Yeah, but it was also a bit of novelty, since the place I got pulled from was Schitt's Creek. Yeah, exactly how it's said.

Ooh, I'll have to look then. Figured some beach gathering may have to be in order with summer just around the corner.

Yeah, my dad got me the deed to the town as gift when I was much, much younger. I guess nepotism was another reason I really didn't work that much. Well, before we were stripped off all our funds. I, kind of, oddly enjoy working.

A bonfire would be excellent.
