I ran into a cat-erpillar creature near Darleth. I think it had to be either the one that Sookie saw or a member of the same spices.

We had a conversation. It told me that it came here through a thinny, which is a thin place between worlds and that it wouldn't go back, only forward to other worlds. It said it wasn't going to kill the 'things' it collected, only keep them 'safe'. It wouldn't give me a list of names of who else would be collected, how many more it would collect, or how many of it already has in its collection.

I take it most of us are spending more time inside with all the unusual creatures in the fog.

I have an idea to keep some of us busy. For those who participated in secret Santa, guess who gave you your gift. You can guess more than one name, it's for fun. Then the person who got your name can let you know if you guessed right.

For example, I'd guess Layla since my gift was a lovely embroidered scarf and she mentioned that she enjoys embroidery. And then Layla could reply and confirm it was her. In my case, I already knew since I drew the names, but it could be fun for the rest of you. And I'm curious to see who gets it right.
