Dunwich: A Creepypasta Panfandom Game

April 5 2063, is what is generally accepted as First Contact on Earth where I'm from. A human vessel was spotted by Vulcan scientists surveying the Milky Way galaxy traveling at warp speed, and the scientists diverted their intended path to make contact with humans.

However long before the official first contact, there were various aliens on and around Earth and in the galaxy - and with everything that has been happening recently. I just can't help but think maybe- I don't know, I might be jumping to conclusions, but interference with electricity and communications equipment, items going missing, strange sounds and the ringing of the ears. These aren't always, but are frequently signs of interference by alien technology in my experience.

Good ol' Dunwich, back here again. Can't say the adventures haven't been right up my alley, though! And a monster! And I missed it! Shame.

Something's not right. Feels wrong here. Something's wrong. Just can't put my finger on it. What's wrong.

Oh, thank heavens that's over.

Don't know about anybody else, but I went from talking like a pirate, to trying to make sense of the 1900s, to looking at penguins and cooking fresh seal - and that's just over the last couple of months. So I reckon it's high time for a break.

I know this is the best time of the year to be working hospitality, but alas, Todash will be closed for the holidays. That's so we can recharge, recoup, and see how much produce needs to be tossed this time around. Wages will of course still be paid to our employees since we're not completely skint just yet.

I made a big pot of vegetable soup and baked some bread. Not as good as my usual due to the lack of fresh ingredients, but it's hearty and warm so come help yourself.

From now on, please address me as Monsieur Ouen Charme. I had to feign a French accent to get a job as a cook for the mayor's family -- and even that barely got my foot in the door until I was able to demonstrate a proper béchamel.

Never thought I'd say this, but I already miss grilling burgers.

If anyone wants to potentially get lost in an endlessly large spaceship which must be navigated at current by candlelight in order to have some time-appropriate clothing, my TARDIS has shown up in this year.

Nothing works inside but its still bigger in there and I am quite certain we can still find the wardrobe.

Well, this is unexpected. Thought I’d be crashing a Time Lord reunion; instead, I’m somewhere with free Wi-Fi and far too many little shops. North America, 2024 - close to Boston, if my nose hasn't let me down. Not exactly what I’d call… home.

Anyway - hello to anyone who finds this. I don’t usually dabble in… things of this sort. Bit preoccupied usually. With, you know, saving planets and the like. But recent events have taken a peculiar turn and this is not exactly the welcome committee I was expecting.

Though, given my arrival here, I suppose I’m overdue for a change of tactics so if anyone out there has noticed anything… unusual - odd weather patterns, time behaving badly, mysterious strangers - do share. Could be nothing, could be everything. Either way, I’m all ears.

Quite curious how I ended up here instead of where I was supposed to be. But then again, the universe does love its surprises.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving back home. If I were there, I'd make a big, traditional meal for my friends. I don't want to do an entire turkey for me. If I roasted some turkey breasts and vegetables, and served them along with some mashed potatoes, gravy and 'stuffing' (won't actually be cooked in a turkey), would anyone join me? Maybe a pumpkin pie or pumpkin crème brûlée or pumpkin cake for dessert. Otherwise I'll be eating leftovers for days.

Not that I mind eating the leftovers. I am aware of how I'm spending money and plan to pay it all back once I get a job. I'm sure that will be soon, I'm already working on it. I owned and ran my own restaurant back home. I'm not one to sit around.

Back to my point, who wants to join me for dinner tomorrow? I can fit a small group into my apartment.
