Thank you for bearing with us while we sorted things out at Todash. With the earthquake damage hopefully resolved and our stocks freshly replenished, I am happy to announce that we're ready to resume full service starting tonight.

... Though, I would ask that you adjust your expectations for the new bartender. He's local and can't hold a candle to Bev and still learning the ropes.

Speaking of which, Todash is hiring! Prospective bartenders, servers, cooks, please get in touch. We offer competitive pay and your choice of hours.

[Mike]
Thank you for helping these past few days, I don't know how I could've done it without you.

In an effort to forge on and not get sunk into the deep, dark pit of Stuff That Has Happened, do you reckon it's too soon to put up Halloween decorations? I'm seeing them pop up all over town and we still have last year's skeletons and such in the shed...

We certainly can, yes!

Because, while I'm pleased that you have things running again, I don't think I'll be able to come back for a while.

No, of course. I understand.

I miss her every day.

Would it be too much if I came to the backdoor and picked up my orders?

I desperately wonder why I never made the attempt to know her better, sooner.

No, of course... though that does seem a bit grim.

I'm sure we can find someone to bring them to Pickman for you. I could, even, but you'd have to wait until closing time.

Hopefully it wont be for long. My heart will mend and I'll be back drinking pints and randomly drunkenly entertaining the masses.

Oh no, I wouldn't want to put anyone out.

Still, it'll force me to get out, so it's not just work and home and sulk.

I'll help as long as you need. You don't even need to ask.

I think that's not a bad idea. In an effort to Keep on Keeping on. Who doesn't like taking their skeletons out of the closet?

If it's all the same to you, I'll hang the purple and orange lights up this year.

I don't know how to add sound effects on this thing, so ba-dum-tshh to the closeted skeletons.

If you insist...

Honestly, it's probably for the best. Who knows what other part of the house I might break this year?

I'm not sure it has sound effect capabilities. But I'm picking up what you're putting down.

Exactly. Plus if I fall it wouldn't really matter.

We tried. And those of us who're left still will.

I saw that you're coming by this Friday. I'd love to hear some Bev stories.

It will be eventually. Richie's from our future and he said she winds up happy and in a relationship with Ben. Ben's the best too.

We do. Quite desperately. New guy just dropped a very expensive bottle of bourbon. Not his fault, I suppose. Those things get slippery.

Well, so I assume. Not much of a bourbon drinker, myself.

I'd rather have a sherry.
