I found a lab that looks like it was also used as a clinic. If we're stuck in the frozen ass crack of nowhere, it'll be the closest thing we've got to a hospital. I'm gonna spend time in here and I'd like others with first aid/medical experience to take turns. If you're hurt or sick, don't hesitate to get help. It'll be a lot easier on our supplies to treat a wound than to treat an infection down the line, easier to treat frostbite than gangrene, etc. Don't forget to stay hydrated, that's important in the cold too. If you have a medical condition that gets worse in the cold, please consider telling someone and have them help you monitor it.
I know this has been covered,it can't be stressed enough -if you're actually going outside- dress in proper layers with no exposed areas - make sure the first layer is thin and draws away sweat, then the warmer layers for insulation, with a waterproof top layer. Remember you need to protect your head, hands, feet, eyes and ears. Make sure your boots have good traction. Watch yourself for numbness, loss of feeling or a stinging sensation, intense shivering, slurred speech, loss of coordination, fatigue, if you experience any of those symptoms, come back inside. And tell someone you're going and when you expect to come back. Or better yet - go in groups. Or just stay the fuck inside.
Richie, Stan, Ele Elektra, Richie, Stan, check in please. Don't go looking for penguins, Stan.
