I had been thinking about changing my job for awhile, but an opportunity that I rather like has come up and I got the job. It's a company makes sure that charities do what they should actually do and supports them with the money they raise. I'm excited.

I hope to be able to keep doing self-defense, at least on the side, once I'm settled in and the baby has been born. But they've found someone to take over the courses I've been teaching for now, with consideration to the fact I'm expecting and at that point where some physical examples won't be possible soon.

I'm starting to try and think of hobbies, rather than simply work and home, but am at a bit of a loss in regards to options. Are there any hobbies that anyone here enjoys that they would recommend?

I managed to find myself a job that works with my knowledge. The museum is training me on how to be a tour guide in the pre-18th general history and naval history. I can obviously give plenty of information about piracy, although I think I'll leave out the cursed skeletons and kraken.

Jack, would you like to take that half-day trip to the ocean?

Opening up your own business here is a lot more complicated than back home, geez. The paperwork isn't terrible, but I've had to ask one question too many! Hate to be a bother. With all the red tape, you'd think it would take longer for approvals though. A few days wait isn't so bad. See what happens...

Very strange to think about settling down here for a potentially long haul. Already been a month, wish I could say it flew by. Really hasn't though. That's okay! Can't say much of what I've seen around here randomly is all that weird. If anything, it's weird not seeing people walking around unarmed all the time.

Oh! Speaking of questions... the banker I was talking to suggested I "google" something. Hope that's spelled right. I felt dumb enough at that point, thought I'd try here. How do I google?

I suppose "pirate" and "lady" wouldn't be considered real job options here.

I keep expecting to wake up from whatever dream this is, but it never seems to happen. Anyone have any recommendations for something to do in the middle of the night?

I wish I could sleep. Night is the worst. All I can do is lay in bed and think about Prim. What will happen to her. How I couldn't save her.

It's not fair. Everything I did. Everything I went through was to protect her. I can't- Everyone tells me that I'm a survivor. Gale said I would do whatever would help me to survive, but what's the point of surviving if everyone that matters is gone? I'm just so tired of everything. I used to know how to be happy, and now it just hurts all the time. I don't know who brought me here or why, but if you can see this, please please send me Prim.
