Network comm for The Land of Make Believe

Well, it looks like I've landed myself in the Land of Make Believe. Really, the only logical conclusion is that this is a very intricate dream, because I can't explain how I got here and I could've sworn I just walked past a couple of the Avengers. Assuming I am unconscious on the other side, I can only hope that Leonard keeps me under, plugs me into life support and lets me ride this one out, this is definitely one I'm gonna want to remember.

Oh, who stops to update their blog in the middle of a dream? How silly of me. Now, I'm off to see how many autographs I can get before I wake up.

I swear if witches are behind this I am going to drain every single last one of them. I do not have time for this!

Anybody interested to a day at the lake? I'm taking Alex with me, I think that a little time off from my job right now is what I need. All that paperwork is starting to stress me out. I figure a little fishing, a picnic, and lots of fun. Just let me know!

Just making sure that everyone is still doing alright. Anyone need anything or need me to do anything? Just let me know. I may not have super powers, but I'm pretty good with cleaning up messes. And I need to get away from this desk for a while.

Okay, Ron, if this is some idea of a joke of your brother's, I appreciate the humour behind it, but I'm not in the mood right now. If it's not, then I don't really know. Where is this, anyway? Hermione, are you around here? Ginny? At least it looks like I still have my wand. Apart from that, I'd really like to know where I'm at right about now.

Though it will probably be in the papers probably by tomorrow and I'm probably not officially supposed to say anything yet, I thought a few of you might like to know that the "official" cause of the explosions has been determined to be the gas lines failing, which was caused by the power loss throughout the city. There are still people investigating why the power failed, but I can almost guarantee that they'll find it to be an unfortunate random accident.

Anybody who has come forward and said that they saw some green giant stomping around the city has pretty much been given a pat on the back and told that they were under mental duress and should probably get some rest.

Typical government stuff.

Good news is that we're done with all the Rescue & Recovery stuff on our end, so anybody who wants to volunteer for cleanup and hasn't been able to yet can now. Just call [Phone #] if you're interested and haven't been able to get through.

But if you're not part of the volunteer group, all those businesses are still shut down for the time being, so just avoid that area.

As for the power -- nobody really knows when it will be back. Hopefully soon. If I hear anything, I'll let you know, but at this rate, we'll probably know it's back when the lights suddenly come back on. But until then, try not to go anywhere at night for your own safety. People tend to lose their mind a little in the dark.

And if you see anything going down, call it in. We're doing the best we can, but we're all a little tired, a little stressed, a little pissed off, and can use all the help we can get.

If this is how people act when the electricity goes out, I'd hate to see what'll happen when evil robots try to take over the world.

Can I just say that even though there is no electricity that I'm still having to work? Having to hold a flashlight in one hand and doing things by hand stinks.

I'm thinking about calling it a day though here at the law office. Does anybody need anything? Is there anything that I can do to help?

I was wondering how many people here have gone and come back? I'm still compiling data about this place and how it functions. I'm working on my low level scanner for unusual particles, but research is key.

I feel terrible for not doing this earlier. But I really wanted to thank you for watching Alexander. I hope that he wasn't too much trouble for you or anything. You were a real life saver that night by the way. So whenever you are free, dinner is on me as a thank you for being such a good friend.

Can school just be over already? Law is really hard work, well, I knew what I was getting myself into but I miss being able to come back and getting to have some fun. I'm just glad that I found decent childcare so that I can study before picking him up. I am glad to see that this university has a law school so I can continue after I graduate in 2 and a half to 3 years. I'm finally able to do something that I love, even if it's stressful.

So anybody have any fun summer plans?

Okay this might sound a little bit weird...but with summer coming and everything. I was wondering if there were any good places to go camping? Or perhaps anywhere that would seem as if we could get a vacation here without actually leaving? I like this place and all, but, sometimes its good to just get away from everything for a little bit. I know we can't actually leave, but going somewhere away from the castle seems nice.

Working, studying for final exams and taking care of a one year old son. This mama is exhausted already. A friend said she would watch him for a few hours after I get off from work. Does anyone want to do anything? I could use a night of fun.

Can I ask a huge favor from someone please? I need someone to watch Alexander, I've got to work late tonight and I'm not sure what time I'll be done.

Anybody ready for summer? Well, except for finals of course, but you all know what I mean.
