Out of Character comm for The Land of Make Believe

Hello everyone. I'm Tara and a complete noob to The Land of Make Believe. Just a little about myself. I'm around mostly all day jumping on and tagging when I have a free moment and not working. I'm a recent graduate preparing for grad school so occasionally I will have a lull period.

I bring to you all Myka Bering from Warehouse 13. She comes in from the season 4 premiere having witnessed H.G. sacrifice herself, the warehouse explode, and learning that the world had lost all hope. I'm very excited to be here and can't wait to interact with you all :)

It would seem that I'm not getting all my notifications from IJ. I just found out via noticing replies had been made and having to finally check my spam filter before I found the notification.

I have no idea why this is happening with some replies and not with others, although it does address a couple of issues I've had recently. But if Dustfinger seems to be late replying to you it'll be because I haven't checked my spam files - although I'll be doing that several times a day from now on.

So Aurora and I were discussing Percy and Thalia's duel and we have decided that it ended in a draw. Percy possesses the Curse of Achilles which makes him invulnerable except for a spot on his back, but since he was wearing armor Thalia couldn't get to it. Another downfall of the curse is Percy tires quickly so the duel went on until Percy tired and Thalia tired from the hits Percy got on her. They both got in some good hits on each other, but Percy was pretty much unscathed. So the duel lasted for probably close to an hour or so and anyone who came got a good show.

Since the duel though Percy has probably been sleeping to get his strength back. Heather, if it's kewl, I was thinking maybe in Annabeth's room?

Heya guys!

Just a heads up that I'm putting myself on kind-of-hiatus for a week or so. Nothing exciting - I've just got some RL stuff that's making me a bit rubbish for writing at the moment, so I think it's better to do it this way than to have people think I'm ignoring them. XD

I might post occasionally, but it'll mostly likely be spotty for a while. I'll try and keep on top of the threads I've got going until they're done though. :) And I'll be around via. email and AIM, so feel free to poke me!

Aloha. I'm Jamie. I'm bringing in Merlin from the series Camelot. He's closer the legends then the BBC series, and is not much like the goofy, young version you've already got. He's ancient, kind of rude, more then a little crazy, and come to screw with people. His magic is powerful, of course, but takes a physical toll on him and is like an addiction. His Arthur is king, and he's just left Camelot. He's up to play with, and I'm on aim at gay bumblebees.

well it's that time... that time to say good bye. Due to changing jobs and taking less pay I can't afford internet service that works well at the moment. Hey everyone! I'm back from my mini vay-kay and ready to play! However, I am dropping Primrose Everdeen because I haven't really wrapped my head around her character, and with my two jobs averaging 52ish hours a week, I don't want to run myself ragged so I'm cutting down on my rps a teensy bit to save my sanity.

Prim is paired with Percy Jackson for September, but I'll gladly thread Lilu/Percy to make up for it cuz I don't wanna leave you hanginggggggg. Also if the mun for Karrin Murphy could get a hold of me, you're my pair for September. kthaaaaaaaaaaaaanks!

Heyyy guys! I should have done this last night, but I got lazy. :P Anyway, this is Mordred from BBC's Merlin. He's eleven, a powerful little magic-boy, and a bit on the creepy side. But also pretty cute, so I reckon you can all forgive him. :P He's shy and freaked out though, so he probably won't talk for the first couple of weeks. Luckily, he's telepathic around those with magic, or around those who have some kind of mind-reading ability, so he should be able to interact with some of you!

Just wanted to say that YESTERDAY, Kurt and Blaine had a picnic on the castle grounds for anyone who was invited or just passing through. They invited everyone they knew and their friends and so on, and i people were walking by they were told to get a plate. They have told some to bring food for a potluck kind of thing, and they showed off with some music, and would have invited everyone to a new version of Glee club.

If your character was there or stopped in, let us know, or we can backdate a thread if anyone wants to do a meet and greet thing? So YAY for picnics!!!!!

Soooo, what have I missed? I've had a quick look-back over the comms, so I know school's started and bodyswap's over and I need to do activity check. Anything else?

Hey guys just wanted to give a heads up that I'm gonna be pretty busy this weekend. If I'm on the actual internet at all it'll be early Sunday afternoon before we head to my cousins' house. I will have my phone so net and comm tags will be doable and I'm gonna try to tag the Serena/Sherlock thread from my phone in a bit, but thread tags will be short. So be patient with me this weekend. Heyyyyy! So sorry for being so MIA, I have worked approximately 58 hours in 5 days, and pulled a 12 hour work day today. And on top of that I will being on a roadtrip from tomorrow to Monday, at which time I will race back home in time for a 10 hour work shift. And then I'm meeting up with a friend because the only time I can socialize is after work in the middle of the night. WOOOO!

Hey y'all. Just popping on to let you know that the power company says ours should be restored tomorrow between 5-11pm. Not sure if that's totally accurate, as they still have to get the tree off our power lines and fix the lines hanging in the back yard, but hopefully I'll be around this weekend. Otherwise, I'm still only here for short stretches as battery power allows.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Ashley Jean and I'm very new here. But my newness has nothing to do with me. Instead, let's draw our attention to the lovely Fiona Gallagher whom I've brought to you all courtesy of my love for Showtime's Shameless. I don't want to go too in depth about here character here, but what I will say is while Fiona is rough around the edges and a little more-so inside (you can thank abandonment issues what not for her extreme trust and insecurity issues), she can be a fun-loving and loyal friend.

While Fiona prefers to do everything herself, she also needs someone to help take care of her, seeing as she's not one to really worry about her own well being. And as the show title says, well, Fiona is pretty shameless in the sense that, she's pretty open about everything, except when she's feeling any sort of negative emotion. Otherwise, she's up for talking about what others might feel are personal experiences amongst themselves. While she has a bit of an attitude, Fiona is truly a sweetheart.

I hope you enjoy her! This place seems like fun and I can't wait to see how she'll get on here.
